001 [network; text] → after school
You people talk about some of the most dull stuff, you know that? Obviously this is some kinda online message board, right? Ugh, it’s like those personal lifejournals that no one actually cares about or reads but literally this place is a hub for old people to talk about each other’s lives. (;¬_¬) Gross, why care about real life? Real life blows.
I’ve never heard of an entire city with an internet chat board but whatever (sounds like you're a bunch of pedophiles to be honest.) Gotta keep those mean, judgmental, normal people out, right? Ha—
Enough boring life garbage, talk about something entertaining… like anime. Yeah, anime, let’s talk about anime. Not fucking cartoons either I mean Japanese animation, it’s 110% superior in every way. It’s mature and for adults, obviously a good way to suck up your time since you all seems so lost about your lives. Better than all that American TV shit that goes to waste by the 3ed season, how do people watch that stuff? It’s so laaammmmeeee..
Anyway, currently, I’m re-watching a classic k-OFF! by KyoAni and playing the new Tiny Monsters on my 3DS. We can exchange friend codes if you want, more safari friends for me.
(^-^*)/ If anyone wants to talk about mecha or moe anime it's my life, I've watched just about every single anime about giant robots there is!
[Look at all that rude sass, wouldn’t you know it’s coming from a newly transferred thirteen year-old boy. He’s a smart kid, after poking around and lurking a bit he’s figured out mostly how this network things works (people don’t give kids these days any credit for just how tech savvy they are.) Jamie feels most confident behind his computer so most of his venting happens over his bully of an internet personal, far too shy to speak so vividly in real life…
Unless it’s of course about anime, he knows everything about anime, video games, and glorious Japan so don’t even think you got one over him on that, no sir.]

You like robots, huh?
text;
yeah!! they are my favorite, ever since I was a kid I've been really attached to mecha anime.
giant robots are cool I wanna collect models and stuff.

And hey, truth was stranger than fiction, nowadays. ]
I don't remember very much about the ones I used to watch. Which were your favorites? The robots, I mean.
no subject
I also really like the design of the Lurren Gagann I want him too...
My favorite mecha is Adamgelion!
[Of course those wouldn't be build-by mondels and Jamie wants something he can put together himself for his first..]
{ooc: I didn't list any gundams for your convenience. Just let me know if you want him too for now I'm just avoiding the topic.}
no subject
I think that's one I never watched. Here, want to take a look at something —
[ A sound like carding through papers while he switches his number over to a drawing someone did for him, making it appear via network. ]
Familiar at all?
no subject
[He's got the biggest smile on his face, what a cool drawing!! Jamie likes to draw too but-.. The other guy's drawing is so much better whow...!! Spinning around to hope off his computer chair and run down stairs to use his moms work scanner to upload his newest drawing that Jamie had to pull out of his backpack. The confidence he felt right now was something he rarely got to experience in real life all that often... it almost feels familiar however...
Running back up with a few words of apology spoken to his mother as he ran through the house.] sorry for the late reply!! I had to run down stairs to use the scanner so I could show you mine it's not that good but!! my teacher said I'm getting better a shading.
[You can't see him but congrats, this thirteen year-old is blushing and hoping he didn't just embarrass himself.. h-he's learning, okay? He'll be good like you some day but not today.] yeah that one looks like lurren maybe.... it's too fat to be like the ones from adamgelion.. maybe like the one from BIG-TOE! heres a picture.
no subject
Hey, that's great. You sound like you know a lot more about this than I do, so it looks like I was right to ask. I thought it maybe looked like a Go-Bot, but it was a lot bigger.
BIG-TOE was pretty cool though.
[ Because he's actually seen that one. Adamgelion managed to get away from him... ]

[ Though the white and red robot on the page was pre-drawn, another drawing crops up out of nowhere. A less impressive robot, in fact. ]
no subject
[He likes you, Jamie isn't going to shit on anyone that's this nice to him even if they like 'cartoons'] Hey, that ones a chibi robot ahah!
no subject
[ He circles the chibi one for effect. ]
He's real.
[ Well, so is the other one, but he doesn't want the kid to short circuit or think he's just been facetious this whole time. ]
no subject
Oh. My. God.
This guy has a real robot!!]
Does it talk?? Is it from Japan?! They have robots in Japan! I know, I googled it!
no subject
I think. I haven't really asked him yet.
[ nts ask Haro if he knows his own specs. ]
no subject
I.. wish I could see hime..
no subject
Here you go. [ He scraps the paper and goes back to his phone, opening up a one-way Skype call. The video steadies on the little green basketball robot, who just sits there for a second. ]
Go on, Haro. You're not shy, so don't even pretend.
[ And true to form, he flaps a few times, red eyes lighting up.
Not shy! Not shy! Hello! ]
no subject
A real. Life. Robot. It can talk, and it's talking to him. He can't help it, he opens Skype as well only to ignore all his little online friends roleplay requests so he can talk to the robot! Calm down there, Jamie, don't give yourself a heart attack.]
H-Hi! My names Jamie! [It's.. really.. cute..]
no subject
Jamie! Nice to meet you! Nice to meet you! ]
See? I'm not really sure why he repeats things, but he understands everything pretty well.
