bluh bluh the mines were a bust etc etc etc how about some news that actually new and exciting and hasn't been repeated a thousand times
Good news, everyone! As it turns out, some of my friends just got grounded for life due to involvement in a freak gasoline fight accident, so they can't make it to our LARP meeting this weekend. This means that we are down several players, which isn't much fun at all! And since you are all such lovely and open minded individuals, I'd like to extend an invitation to you all to come and join me this Saturday to throw bean bags at each other and attempt to out-rules lawyer each other over petty disputes!
Padded, foam weapons (important!!!! we are not here to actually kill each other!!!!!!!!!) will be provided, so you don't need to worry about that, but you are most certainly welcome to bring your own! Being in costume is non-negotiable!! We are here to pretend to be stupid-hatted wizards and dinky short-shorted magic singing lady-wooers; do not show up in your normal people clothes. This will also be a convenient excuse for any physical changes you might be worried about hiding, so don't be a dick about this. We are all going to look like huge nerds out there. There is no escape.
