Good news, everyone! As it turns out, some of my friends just got grounded for life due to involvement in a freak gasoline fight accident, so they can't make it to our LARP meeting this weekend. This means that we are down several players, which isn't much fun at all! And since you are all such lovely and open minded individuals, I'd like to extend an invitation to you all to come and join me this Saturday to throw bean bags at each other and attempt to out-rules lawyer each other over petty disputes!

Padded, foam weapons (important!!!! we are not here to actually kill each other!!!!!!!!!) will be provided, so you don't need to worry about that, but you are most certainly welcome to bring your own! Being in costume is non-negotiable!! We are here to pretend to be stupid-hatted wizards and dinky short-shorted magic singing lady-wooers; do not show up in your normal people clothes. This will also be a convenient excuse for any physical changes you might be worried about hiding, so don't be a dick about this. We are all going to look like huge nerds out there. There is no escape.

Please inquire within for any further questions you may have about this wondrous and exciting event. Spaces are limited*, so act fast!

Glad to hear it! :D

Not as much as it could be, unfortunately, but I think it could still work out! It's at a campground park thing on the edge of town; we rent out one of those party halls as kind of a main base, and then we use the pavilions as a general place to meet up and play, and all those are really easy to get to. Some people go out in the woods, but that's their choice. I make sure to not arrange any official events where anyone could get lost in the woods and mauled by bears or whatever. We always have some indoor games going on, too! Nobody likes being hot and sweaty and gross the whole day.

as long as it is doable i will work on getting travis to go too (travis if you read this later i will get you ice cream if you go with me) and it will be just glorious!

i also have costumes and stuff so i'm all set there :o

haha yeah, my sister is pretty big into larping so i ended up going to them a lot over the years

i also find it pretty fun myself although i tend to do more d&d

i've played nearly everything once for the sake of it but i guess i've spent the most time with 3.x editions haha
i'm afraid i'm never much of a purist when it comes to games and the like
i'm always willing to try something other than what i've done before

now i have to ask the same question in return i think

Mostly 3.5, aka D&D: Wizard Edition. But I like to run other games, too, like World of Synnibarr, because there is just something terribly endearing about a game with flying bears that shoot laser beams out of their eyes.

Wizards are fun, but they're not my favorite. I'm honestly more of a paladin kind of person, to be honest. Defending the weak and upholding justice and all that!
