In my years, I've experienced a number of strange things. But out of all of them, not remembering why I'd booked a flight back to this city until I arrived here has to be among the top ten.

It seems like it's some kind of barrier around Locke that affects our memories. Or field. It could even vary from person to person.

That seems like it'd make the most sense. As much as it can right now. I wanted to find my own limit, and compare it to someone else's. Or a lot of other peoples' —

Offhand, the quickest way to discover that would be to send a number of people (or one multiple times) away and back again, to discover when their memories slip away.

That may be quite a lot of trouble.

It's true, it'll take a lot of time and cooperation. But compared to a lot of the other dangerous stuff, it could be something to do for the people who can't fight.
