Ugh.

That's all I have to say, Secret Numbers Club whatever.

I've had these stupid numbers for months and I haven't gotten any real memories, or superpowers, or anything besides these lame-ass hair pins.

[She flicks a mechanical pencil off her desk in a tiny release of frustration.]

And I guess I hate dolls now, but that's not even a little interesting.

What do I have to do to get some god damned progress?

I'm already stuck with whatever I get as long as I'm here, aren't I? I just want to see some progress.

Getting stuff to help me defend myself wouldn't hurt either.

Obviously we're stuck with it, but trying to hurry it up only means it's going to be that much harder to identify with the rest of the world.

...I know what you mean about being able to defend yourself though.

The rest of the world is kind of overrated sometimes. I'm already a scientific prodigy, so why not add on this weird stuff. It's not like I'll get picked on at school for it.

Well, unless I grow horns or something.
