Where: Locke City Community Center (idk there's probably more than one)
When: Sunday Afternoon
What: The much awaited first aid and rescue training thing is here.

[ HOW THIS WORKS: This is an OPEN POST!! So feel free to have your characters mingle and tag around. Private conversations will have to be taken outside (my, how subtle.) I will try to tag everyone!! Even if it's just Ryan saying hi. He's very social, he'll want to make sure everyone is doing ok. Also, even if your character didn't officially sign up, it's not too late to say they found the signup sheet or saw the post and decided to go for it. I'm working under the assumption that Ryan came up with the date early in the week and messaged everybody. It probably went something like this:

Ryan here! Our first (heh) First Aid and Rescue training is at 13:00 at [address]. Bring friends! :)

Anyway, pick a prompt and do your thing.

A) SETUP: People who volunteered to help set up are here with snacks and stuff, getting everything ready. Likewise anyone who decided to show up early will get to stand around and be talked into helping out, dammit!!

B) LECTURE/TRAINING: What it says on the tin. Ryan and the people who offered to help him will be talking about stuff to do in emergencies, then offering some basic exercises like CPR training, how to put pressure on wounds and make compresses... It's up to you if your character is paying attention or just slacking off, daydreaming about sandwiches, or really invested in Ryan's "Team Dad" t-shirt. I'm not gonna write down a lecture because it'd be long and I'm not actually certified to do any of this so shhh, use your imagination.

C) POST TRAINING MINGLE: Where the magic and free food happens. Everyone's just mingling, having snacks and chatting. (For the record, there is soda, veggie/chicken sandwiches, cookies, etc.) Maybe your character is like "wow, I learned so much!" maybe they're like "wow, I fell asleep!" I don't know. It's up to you, go be the social butterfly you were meant to be.

It was. Couldn't sleep for a few days, haha. [ Not a laughing matter at ALL. ] But I wasn't-- Or maybe I should say Reiner wasn't afraid. So maybe I'm still missing something.

[ RINGFIDDLING INTENSIFIES. The weirdness of everything is starting to catch up with her, now - she really really shouldn't be trusting someone she barely knows with this kind of information, but...

[ Ryan goes silent for a second. Female-Type Titan... ]

That's the one who crushed me, right? That was you?

[ He actually only sounds curious. Now that he's gotten over the pain from it, he's been trying really hard to make sense of that one... Why else would I have gone through that without being afraid? ]

Huh. I must've known-- Reiner, I mean. That would explain... well, one thing. Out of like he twenty other questions it raises.

[Quickly:] I don't remember crushing you. I expect it was me, though. I get the impression that female titans were unusual.

[ Should she say sorry? Is apologising for past-life-crushing someone who doesn't seem to mind even a thing? ]

I guess that confirms... this. [handwave.] That I knew you.

[ Because Ryan has to be feeling that too, right? ]

That's fine. [ He waves it off. He actually... waves that off, christ Ryan what is wrong with you-- and who's Ellie to him that she can do something like that and he honestly doesn't even feel angry? ] I don't know why I-- Reiner did it, but I definitely remember writing something in your hand. Wish I could remember what it was...

[ He sighs a bit. Because these feelings make no sense, even to him. Annie was... definitely someone important to him, though. To Reiner? Oh god don't start with the dissociation, Ryan, don't you go down that road. ]

I guess so. [ Is it weird that he wants to ruffle her hair? It's weird, right? Too bad, he's going for it. ] I think we might've been friends.

[ Ryan's assumption for past-life people will always be "friends," clearly he was just as friendly in his past life hahahahahahaaha good at earning his comrade's respect hahahahhahaha ]

[ Any dry little remarks about how Reiner was probably writing a grocery list on the titan's hand are abruptly cut off by that hair-rufflage.

[ Feels right. Or she'd have punched Ryan in the face for the hair ruffle. Somehow it didn't come off as patronising from him, though.

Not that it's going to stop her from straight-facedly ruffling his hair right back. Even if she has to stand up to do it. THIS IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY FRIENDSHIP OKAY ]
