Who: Everyone who is interested in delicious information about Thunder Corp.
Where: A meeting room in Emmanuel's church, same spot self-defense lessons are held
When: Thursday August 15th, around 5PM
What: A gathering of folks from the network to make plans and disperse information.

[Tamara had really hit paydirt when she got a hold of a particular email exchange. It had been a risky stunt on her part to infect computers at Thunder Corp but it had been worth the risk to get something this good.

Yeah, she was being a bit paranoid, but the whole comment about superpowers made her wonder just how much did they know about the people on here. The chances of a mole were small, but it was present. And like she told others, it did not good to have this information if they didn't act upon it and they would need resources and organization to do so. She didn't like speaking before large groups, but something had to be done. She had stopped by earlier to provide Emmanuel the information for anyone who couldn't make it that may show up throughout the day, then she'll show up later to give it out to the general group that was coming.]

[OOC: Going to have a few threads here. Stuff for mingling before and after the meeting and the meeting itself. Also a sign in thread so that the muns can track who was here and just note in it if they showed for the meeting or came by to get the info from Emmanuel even if they don't do anything more than get the info. The only required bit of info to give is going to be their number, names and such are optional. And since it was suggested that we get an idea of what people can contribute, that will also be included in the sign in thread.

Assume another post went up giving the time and also mentioning that Emmanuel would be around most of the day to relay information while he did paperwork so people knew when to come.]

[ John had been very uncertain about coming, but the more time passes the more he thinks it's probably a good idea to actually get involved, if only to know exactly what's going on around the city. He does have people to look after, if not himself, and if it's true that they might get targeted... Who's to say people close to them aren't in danger?

He doesn't dare risk that.

So here he is, pacing back and forth as he waits for the meeting to start. He's uneasy and restless and probably doesn't look very approachable, but go ahead. ]

[Sam is one of the people that showed up pretty early. He's been sitting most of the time due to his broken leg, and has been watching as the older man has been pacing back and forth.

He's a nosy sort of guy, so once his pacing brings him back around to nearby where he's sitting, Sam clears his throat.]

You seem a little nervous.

[ And right on cue, he jumps, and the look he turns on Sam is one of a child caught with their hand in the cookie jar. He's that obvious, is he? ]

A-ah, do I?

[He manages not to laugh, but his smile betrays his amusement at the man's reaction.]

Well, you've been pacing for a while.

[ Huffs a bit. ]

Y-yes, I. I guess I have.

Do you mind if I ask what's bothering you?

Oh, nothing in particular. I suppose I've just never really met with people from the, ah... network before.

I see! That makes sense. Are you new to the "club"?

Yes, I suppose I am. I've been. In it. For about a month.

Ahh. [He nods, almost sagely--which might be more than a little silly considering he's talking to a man twice his age.] I'd tell you "you get used to it" but I'm not sure if that's really true. Despite that, I hope you get to know everyone a bit more! Misery loves company, right?

Well, at the very least it's nice that we have people that are going through similar stuff. Having to go through all of these changes without any knowledge of why it's happening would be tough.

I'm not so sure we know why it's happening.

[ It doesn't seem like it to him. But at the same time, they're together in not knowing. Maybe that's at least something. ]

Well, at the very least we can share notes and say "This water making me remember things that never happened to me. Also it's making me giggle."
