Who: Everyone who is interested in delicious information about Thunder Corp.
Where: A meeting room in Emmanuel's church, same spot self-defense lessons are held

What: A gathering of folks from the network to make plans and disperse information.

[Tamara had really hit paydirt when she got a hold of a particular email exchange. It had been a risky stunt on her part to infect computers at Thunder Corp but it had been worth the risk to get something this good.

Yeah, she was being a bit paranoid, but the whole comment about superpowers made her wonder just how much did they know about the people on here. The chances of a mole were small, but it was present. And like she told others, it did not good to have this information if they didn't act upon it and they would need resources and organization to do so. She didn't like speaking before large groups, but something had to be done. She had stopped by earlier to provide Emmanuel the information for anyone who couldn't make it that may show up throughout the day, then she'll show up later to give it out to the general group that was coming.]

[OOC: Going to have a few threads here. Stuff for mingling before and after the meeting and the meeting itself. Also a sign in thread so that the muns can track who was here and just note in it if they showed for the meeting or came by to get the info from Emmanuel even if they don't do anything more than get the info. The only required bit of info to give is going to be their number, names and such are optional. And since it was suggested that we get an idea of what people can contribute, that will also be included in the sign in thread.

Assume another post went up giving the time and also mentioning that Emmanuel would be around most of the day to relay information while he did paperwork so people knew when to come.]

[Tamara has a small stack of printed papers. They include two sheets. On one is the email exchange mentioned here. Complete with headers and everything to prove it is legit and not something she just made up.

The second sheet includes a summary of information that she found about where money seems to be going and that Thunder Corp seems to have an interest in things lying underground in the Dead District. She's going to pass these around so people have them to refer to during this.]

I'll admit, I'm no fan of talking like this. But this needs to be done. As you can see from what I just passed around, the Sage and his story was a fake.

No need to say how pissed you are about this, because I sure am and know plenty of others are as well. Too many of us got hurt from that and it shows our biggest fault: a lack of organization and information.

That's why I held onto this until now. Giving this information does no good without us organizing to act upon it since I doubt any person here can do this alone, even Thunder Corp can't. We need to find this Target 1 and before they do. We need more general information and resources. And we need to stop being completely disorganized.

Therefore, I want us to discuss here today what we're going to do about this. How are we going to get organized and how are we going to start trusting each other more? How are we going to get the resources needed and do what we can to make sure we all live through this? And who is going to lead all this because I sure can't.

To start with, I want all of us to think about what can we contribute. Everyone here has something that would help. Whether that's a skill like my ability to get information, or it's access to a special place others don't have, knowledge others don't have, or something else entirely. We'll want to know who we can turn to when it's needed and what we can pool together. We'll also want to consider if we should continue having regular meetings like this.

Also, the one who graciously provided this location has a few things to speak of about what was found related to the water.

[And at that point, she'll open the floor up to Emmanuel or anyone else who wants to speak of the stuff that happened at the reservoir. While she helped with it as well, she didn't see everything that those who were directly involved did. Then anyone else who wants to talk can do so.]

[ God knows he has no clue how to organise everyone or who will lead, but he does have abilities to offer. ]

I'm a surgeon, in case anyone needs help with something that can't be known to the public in that vein. Any other more... regular medical things too, of course. I might even be able to pull strings regarding space in the University Hospital, in severe cases, but I won't make any promises.

[ And then he hesitates for a moment, wringing his hands together. He did already voice it on the network... ]

I have also recently acquired more technical skills. Computers and television. Machines overall, I suppose. I'm not quite sure of the extent of it just yet, but I could take a look at all things technical, see if I understand it.

[he made his own information sheets about what went down at the reservoir, in case people missed Julien's recording. He takes a deep breath.]

Hello, everyone. I want to thank you for coming, I know things have been more uncertain and dangerous lately. For those of you I haven't met, my name is Emmanuel Hall, and I'm the minister at this church.

[he goes on to provide a brief summary of the situation with the water, deciding not to name Alex when explaining one of their members', uh. Rash decision. But at least the outcome was somewhat positive.]

We did stop another truckload of additive from getting into the water, so hopefully it will fade soon, but I wouldn't risk it until someone who can detect the stuff says it's clear. Either way, while this is progress, I think we need to figure out where they're loading the trucks to actually put a stop to this.

As for myself... [here he shifts a little uncomfortably, but keeps speaking.] I can provide this meeting space for us. Also, if anyone is having difficulty finding a place to stay, I have a few extra rooms at home I can lend to people. I haven't gotten much in terms of those "pulses" yet, but--there is this.

[he takes out a long silver knife (minus the blood splatter) and displays it briefly.]

And apparently I know how to use it, though I'd rather not unless absolutely necessary. A young man named Mamoru also holds weekly self defense lessons here at the church, on Wednesday afternoons.

The last thing I wanted to propose was some kind of fund those of us more fortunate could contribute to, to cover things like medical bills or even cosmetic lenses for people who've started...changing. I know there are plenty of children on the network that might not be able to explain things to their parents.

[Vanessa's quiet through the meeting, glaring at the papers in her hands. So, she was wrong about the Gem thing not being a ruse after all. It would be more annoying if it weren't for a few things that came with it. Now they knew that Thunder was looking for something underneath the Dead District and, even better, the names of people who were definitely involved.

She listens through the stuff about the reservoir and the water supply and waits until the floor opens up again before she stands.]

What else do we know about those two in the emails? If we can get their addresses there might be some clues we can find in their homes.

[A bit of a longshot, but it was easier than trying to break into their offices and Vanessa had no issues with a little burglary.]

I've done some searching on the internet before for the bigwigs of Thunder Corp and I do have some general information that can be found on the internet. I have their business related bios and some other information. No addresses right now, but that may be able to be found from a more extensive background check.

I've posted my file to the network before and can send it out to anyone interested again.

[Vanessa will get a private message on the network that is going to link to a document that sums up the info obtained here. It also has links to resources as well for where she found all this. Anyone else who shows an interest will be sent a private message with the same document.]

[he's what he is and doesn't even try to cover up the fact he is a bleached blond Japanese guy with blue eyes, a designer's wardrobe, and a lot of money. his hair was slowly going back to his more natural color and he was definitely wearing some rather obvious heeled boots, but he at least looked like he was taking things seriously.]

A few of you already know, but I'll say it again anyways - I've got funds to help people with covering costs from whatever they need and I know a few stores that supply good cosplay stuff that can help covering up various conditions while in public.

As for myself... Well, I can fight a little and I've been learning that I got some faster reflexes than normal. Not too sure where it will lead to, but it's a beginning.

[Julien's been quiet for most of the meeting, but some time after Emmanuel he decides to speak up.]

Likely the stuff in the water will fade faster in some places than others, and dilute for a while before it's gone. I can see it, but not if it's mixed in coffee or something. And, you know, they could always start adding it again. I'll keep you posted.

[Right. Energy! He smiles broadly.]

...so, well, I'm Julien! Pleasure to see you all! Some of you I know, some I don't but should. Anyway, I work at the clinic and I have possibly the strangest eyes and voice in the club. [He blinks his inner eyelids horizontally, not that it's hugely noticeable.] I see things you probably don't. And I can imitate most voices, if I know them somewhat. Also, I can move without making much noise at all.

Aside from that: [He doesn't want to speak for his boss, but Julien doesn't have anything to say that Aaron hasn't before, anyway.] If you need medical attention, LSR will help you and be discreet, even if you can't pay. ...I mean it's better if you can, obviously. Please don't fleece us. But we'll do our best by you.

Donations are extremely helpful and it wouldn't hurt to have more, uh, help, in general. Skill level doesn't matter - I really just clean and stock and I'm busy. [He does more than that, but it's virtually all unskilled labor. Covering for Aaron was, he dearly hopes, a one-time thing and not in his job description.] Also, remember it's in a bad part of town, and it helps to have a car if you're coming or going at night, or if someone else will.

[For most of the meeting, Kenji sits quietly near the back mostly listening to everyone else talk. He hadn't really planned on talking, himself, but as he scowls down at the copies that Tamara had handed out, one thing keeps bugging him, so...]

Anybody know anything about this 'Earth Entity' thing they mention? They seem to think we know all about it, but if anybody's ever mentioned it on the network, I must've missed it.

Nothing further that all that was among my own findings. About the closest mention was from the sage saying that the Earth chose us specifically, an implication that the Earth itself is sentient enough to make a choice. While most of the story was false, when taken with the fact that the ones who made up the story think we know of this entity, that implication may not be completely false.

[He takes in a breath, lets it out slowly and shakes his head]

Man...this shit just keeps getting weirder.

Do we have any theories on the Echoes or Pulses or... memory things, based on that? It probably plays into why we were chosen, what those things are exactly.

I think they from the past. Our pasts. You know reincarnation in Hinduism? Something like that.

[Yeah, it was indeed impressive and also very illegal and why she's keeping quiet about her methods. She knows most don't want to hear that what she did was even possible as well.]

Not with the same method and I suspect it might be a code name of some sort.

I'd leave such a thing up to that person since he would know best the limitations and also what he is willing to do. I do things remotely, so anything more face to face would be up to those willing to take that risk.
