Okay, so we've established that there's something in the water. No Brooke Fraser jokes please.

I can actually see the contamination, or whatever this is. It's kind of shouted down by the fluoride, but if I take some out into the sunlight in a clear glass, there's definitely a different color to it. Sticks around if it's boiled, but it doesn't get concentrated down.

Are we a reservoir city or is it something else? I don't know a thing about how this works, but someone's tampered with the water supply for the whole city. Anyone else think it's worth going and finding the source?

You know about as much as I do now. It seems to persist through filters but the ones I have are pretty cheap, so idk. Might be more like a chemical than particulate.

It does stuff to me too but lol, I actually have the advantage there.

At the very least, I'm a college student, so I've gotten pretty good at research. Maybe I can look into what sort of water sources we have in the city? Find some possible places where it can be contaminated?

It could be dangerous, pretty easily. Or it could be a cakewalk. We can't know yet.

Wild guess but I think they can't introduce something into the water that would kill or totally incapacitate just us, or they'd have done so.

There's some kind of zoning thing that stop anyone from messing with the woods behind my house because of the city water supply. Something about aquifers and water tables. I don't know. I haven't noticed anything weird back there, though.

Well I've only really gotten a look at it recently! It's sort of visible indoors but I wasn't paying attention. Even if it is one dump we don't want them trying again.

Our zone of operation isn't that tiny really. Not just at the city limits. It's a few hours' drive in any direction.

Yup. My eyes changed recently. With most people here that just means they look cool. Alas, mine don't look a whole lot different if I'm doing it right, but my vision's gone all different. I can see a lot.

Rhetorical question, anyway. And we've got several of those... Since it seems to be hitting all across the city, and a bit in the countryside, I'd guess either multiple sites where it's being added, or one more central place.

My eyes changed last month. I can see a lot of weird things. If someone's shaved recently, if they have pets, if they've had anything to eat or drink. It might be useful!

I think so. I guess this looks like it'll be outside, and that makes things easier than if it was in a plant or something.

I want to go out with people who can be quiet about it to see what's putting that stuff in. And have some other people hanging back where they can run in if it's a trap and idk, fight things. I really want this to be quiet, though. They don't know I can see this stuff and I don't want them knowing.

I guess I'd be happier if there aren't a lot of people. But I kind of get distracted outside and I can't fight, so.
