[ There is now a young teenage girl staring in wonder at the network feed - which is showing up in her bathroom mirror. It's obviously a bathroom, and the mirror's still fogged up from a shower - though thankfully it's done with and the girl is dressed in a dress of some sort instead of fresh out. ]

This is so weird... what is this? It's... it's cool!

[ She just continues to stare at the mirror for a minute... and then she whips out a smartphone and quickly snaps a photograph of it. ]

I have to show this to my friends! Ah, mass send, mass send...

[ ........Somebody should probably stop her before she ruins the entire secret thing. ]

[The voice is teenaged, male, and annoyed. After a few moments, Regina will receive a link to theNewbies guide]

[ Yeah, okay, so at least somebody was actually willing to let her in on why things had to be secret instead of some vague ominous "it's dangerous," which, as she'd come to learn, was usually synonymous with "we don't want you to do it because it's too much fun." So let's see what the fuss was all about...

The army dudes and the cops are basically setting things up for the aliens or whatever to take over, and we're the only ones that know about it. And it gets better. We don't really know what the hell we're supposed to do about it, other than what that Sage dude said...and we don't even know if that was legit or not.

So yeah, we're all part of a magical secret network...and none of us really knows what the hell we're doing.

So why don't we just tell everybody?

If we tell the government, they can do something, right? Or the news!

Don't you get it yet? If some of the military's in on this--and the cops--it's a pretty good bet at least some of the government's in this, too. We can't trust anybody.

[ Ahahaha, well, success! If success is measured in getting Regina to stop acting like... Regina. ]

What, are they cops or something? Like I said, only some of the cops are in on it--hell, there's a cop here on the network. But that's the problem. Unless they're one of us or one of them, anybody we told this to would just think we're crazy.

Then you'd just be getting you and your parents killed. They killed Paul Ben's whole family after he went to the cops.
