Misa glances over at him, surprised that he's sharing so much. With his reaction to her grabbing him, she would have thought it was more recent.

"That must have been hard," she says, taking her hand back. "I didn't realize it was like that."

After a pause, she adds, "I thought about killing myself a lot, after my parents were killed and it looked like the murderer was going to walk away. I don't know what I would have done if things hadn't turned around."
