The doppelganger seems supremely unconcerned with the threat, leaning against the banister as Lazarus leans on his knees and rests his forehead wearily in the palm of his hand.
"You're right, I didn't hear," he says softly, careful not to argue what seems like a very emotionally charged scene from her perspective. "And it doesn't sound like official detective work, but from what I've gotten back, nothing about the case was exactly conventional. I can only hope and believe that whatever my detective was doing, he had his reasons for it, even if it seemed strange or drastic or even... perverted."
His cheeks are a rather pink color, and he seems to be regarding the handcuffs with new, slightly sickened eyes.
