Lazarus's question and the doppelganger's comment go unnoticed. Misa's eyes zero in on the metal cuff around Lazarus's wrist when he raises his hand to touch the tattoo on his neck, and suddenly it's all she can seem to look at. Whatever the two of them are saying fades into the background, and a new memory unfolds in her mind.
She is standing in a spacious, lavish looking room. In front of her are two men wearing those handcuffs, but it's the man she knows as Ryuzaki and the man from her kiss, facing one another.
"Huh? This is what you meant by being together 24 hours a day?" she asks. "Two guys chained together is gross.. This is what you're into? You were with Light at school, too..." "I'm not doing this because I want to," Ryuzaki states plainly. "But Light belongs to me... And if you're always together, then when am I supposed to go on dates with Light?" Misa demands. "The dates will naturally be with the three of us," Ryuzaki answers, calm despite her building volume. "Wha-??! You're saying we have to kiss in front of you?!" "I didn't say you have to do anything. But I will be watching..."
