Hey... network. Your echoes, or pulses, or whatever... do they... normally make sense? Because all of mine seem... I dunno. Very disjointed. This most recent one is like... just a poem! Or something. A very, very depressing one.

[ And then there's a glow on the screen and he looks down, stares, and screeches, flailing, and a glowing rock goes sailing across the room as he tips backwards off his chair to land on the floor. Benedict jumps to his feet with a startled yelp spinning and brandishing a letter opener in his hand before blinking in confusion ]

Arnold?

[Fil frowned at the video for a long time. Because that glowing rock? Looked right familiar. But first things first.]

[ Arnold pops back into the screen and waves sheepishly ]

Am good! Just... got a bit startled... Benedict can you...?

Yeah, I got it. [ The dopple trots off to retrive the shiny ]

I'm good! [ Arnold's hand waves and is followed by his head and a sheepish grin, as the letter opener is set back on the desk and Benedict trots off to fetch the shiny ]

Huh. Oh well, hopefully I'll get some decent context because this one seems like... I dunno. part of some great tale! But I have no clue what the rest might be. Depressing, if this was anything to go by.

[All the noise from that has Liam hurrying downstairs - actually scratch that, because he skips the stairs entirely. Instead hops over the railing on the second floor to land in the two story living room below.]

[ Arnold waves sheepishly from the floor where he's picking himself up and Benedict makes an aborted BE CAREFUL motion when Liam does that before remembering that he is the dopple and retreating back to his emo corner. The silmaril winks brilliantly at everyone from the planter with the little jade tree bonsai on the opposite side of the room ]

I'm fine, I'm fine, good grief Liam be careful you nearly gave me a heart-attack coming down the stairs like that. Just got a weird echo, is all.

He doesn't seem to think so. Does anything make him happy?

Taken individually? Yes. If perhaps occasionally a little devoid of context or any indication as to what they're meant to be. Taken as whole, however... not quite so much. It's like trying to put together a puzzle with the majority of the pieces missing.

[He'll get back to any questions about the glowing rock later.]

Huh. [ Arnold sits up, rubbing his head and Benedict trots off screen to retrieve the rock ]

Well, I suppose given enough time the pieces will come together in a proper whole. Have yours started to make more sense?

It really depends on the person, I think. I know I've gotten a few echoes out of order...

I do, yeah - Benedict... that's my doppel, by the way - he thinks its closer to a recitation or Oath instead. It's really quite gloomy, all "WE WILL GET THIS THING NO MATTER WHAT IT TAKES". Noooot really my cup of tea. Did you get anything like that?

A lot don't make sense at first, but you tend to be able to figure out context better after you've had a lot.

Oh well, hopefully they'll make more sense as time goes by, as you said. Or maybe they'll play into someone else's so I can get a full story! How long did it take before yours started to make sense?

Thus far mine have been making sense... kinda For the most part anyway. Save for that strange sensation I experienced. I think it will make sense in time but... Well I'm not sure why yet.
