When the check came, Danny lifted his hand to pick up the check himself, but freezes when Walter instead nabs it. He tries opening his mouth to object, but is cut off there too. He gives up after that, though, because he he really doesn't want to start an argument now of all times.

So he holds his arms up in a mock surrender. "Alright, alright, I'm officially leaving it." Then a grin twitches at the corners of his mouth. "But I'm taking the next one."
