Understandably so, and Tony would be lying if he said he wasn't worried. "Luck" isn't some magical force that protects you from your bad decisions, especially particularly dangerous ones. Tony's a good example of that, he's survived some really bad decisions, but he's paid the price in blood.
"It's alright, it's something I should get taken care of too, anyway. And it'd feel weird going alone." He'd probably chicken out and leave, honestly.
