I never expected to make a post on here with this medium, but I have no choice since I'm in the hospital.

I have no clue on how to navigate the network with this 'device', so I am requesting an update on the situation. Has the car been eliminated?

I need you to drop by my room. [He lists the room number and hospital he's staying at.] I'll give you the key to my apartment since I can't leave and feed my cats. While you're there, can you bring me back the case I keep Conleth's identification tags in? I don't know if you still remember where I kept it.

That is if you're not too busy with work. If you are, I'll ask Savarna or you can pass on the message to him.

How bad is it?

Mostly.

Sustained a head injury, a broken arm and lots of bruises.

OK, that's a lot more big a deal than I thought it would be.

Does anyone here know any magic to heal?

I know a few people who can heal, but I'm not going to take them up on it. The nurses and doctors would get suspicious of my sudden disappearing injuries and probably want to study me on how I'm able to do that.

OK, I totally forgot that. The whole 'new world order' and monitoring everything worries me, too, but I haven't gotten hurt lately.

[Arthur even types like he talks: loudly.]

[After some reluctance, he jots down the hospital and his room number.] You don't have to bring anything.

[Although, he's not going to be surprised if Arthur does show up with all those things.]

HEY I GOTTA TAKE CARE OF THOSE KIDS IT'S MY JOB AND THE HEROIC THING TO DO SO HANG ON SIT TIGHT I'LL BE THERE SOON.

[Arthur will end his responses there, and if you don't mind moving to action, Xander will probably hear Arthur coming down the hall before there's a knock on the door. Stealth is not Arthur's strong suit.]

[Xander doesn't respond back to Arthur's comment. He's used to waiting on people by this point, except he didn't have much else to do since he didn't want to try and figure out how to navigate the network through a piece of paper.

So, when Arthur arrives at his hospital door, he looks up from his notepad and rips off the page before burning it with his flame ability. Once he disposes off the ashes in the garbage, he calls out.]

...Come in.

[Arthur comes in, and he's got a cheerful handful of balloons and a card and a fruit basket, as well as a bag of donuts.]

How are you feeling, chum? I BROUGHT YOU SOMETHING!

[He's honestly not surprised that Arthur arrived with several gifts despite telling him not to. Although, his head is bandaged up and his arm was in a cast while being covered up by the sheets of the bed.]

I'm fine, thanks to the pain killers. But, you didn't have to bring anything.

[At least there was space for Arthur to put a few things since no one else has been by, yet.]

I might not have had to--but I sure WANTED to!

[And he's setting down the things he brought.]

Are they treating you well in here, chum? They've got a FUNCTIONAL TV FOR YOU and everything?

[He was about to argue, but instead he closes his mouth and uses his good hand to move a few strands of hair from his face. At least he'll give the nurse a heads up regarding the various items and hopefully not receive more in the future.]

Yes, they are. Why wouldn't they? [He raises an eyebrow at Arthur.] It is in their job to make sure their patients are comfortable.

Which wing and room number are you in?

[ He's coming to visit you ( also because he's in the hospital to follow up on his broken arm ). ]

[He'll list the wing and room number.] I guess I'll be seeing you soon then?

Yes, in 5 minutes or so.

[ He's not too far away from Xander's location but coming to the hospital for the follow up has been rather nerve wrecking because of his insecurity regarding his body's condition. Luckily, the hospital is so busy dealing with post crazy car crashes that he's spared their usually more thorough screening. He would've preferred to see Dr. Mordin but since the man is out of town, this is his only option.

He reaches Xander's room in a little over five, the wing slightly further than estimated. With a knock, he pushes open the door. ]

Hey, may I come in?

[It takes Xander a moment to dispose of the piece of paper he was writing on before answering the knock.]

...Come in.

[Just don't be too surprised by the several balloons that have been herded in to the corner of the room or fruit basket that sits on a night stand next to a bag of doughnuts and a card.]

[ Walking in, he immediately noticed the gifts and suddenly regrets not having the foresight to at least buy Xander a drink on the way. ]

Sorry, I didn't bring you anything.

[ However, Eugen's glad that he already has visitors. Taking the seat next to the bed, he smiles to his savior. ]

How are you? Feeling any better?
