He was glad to be rescued but the drastic change from an adrenalin-induced chase to a supernatural escape jammed up his thought process a little. "It's alright, it can't be helped. Gratefully leaning onto Xander for support, he tried to pay attention to his surrounding, only to find himself regretting it because it was rather disorientating. Moving around was strange but being warped back to reality easily topped the experience, especially when pain shot up his arm and knees. He groaned in pain and immediately grabbed onto Xander with his good hand in reflex, trying to keep himself from falling.
