Four Stars [Hand writing]
[Something had been bothering her for awhile now and recently it had started to weigh even more heavily on her mind. It was to the point now that she thought about it almost constantly. She had enough time to do so each day with her two hour commute to and from work each day. But no matter how much she thought about it, there were no easy answers for her. So late one night after an exhausting trip home, Ariel pulled out a pen and paper and began to write a little story to the network.]
Once there was this girl who lived in the land of Magic. At first she didn't have any magic herself, so she decided that she would move away to the land of Dreams were there was a bright future ahead of her. In the land of Dreams there was a job that she had wanted since she was a very little girl, It was a job that she had worked hard for and that she saw her whole bright future stretching away in.
And then one day before she moved away, she woke up to find she had magic powers! Unfortunately, the magic powers were bound to the land of Magic and leaving that land meant her powers went away. At first she was alright with loosing her magic powers. While they were impressive, the were not needed in the land of Dreams. She left for the Land of Dreams with the intent to never return. But then a great calamity struck the land of Magic and she was forced to return.
Once she returned, she started to get more powers and form stronger bonds with the people from the land of Magic. She discovered that a great deal of her family and friends also had magic powers and she became happy in the land of Magic for a time. But she couldn't stay in the land of Magic, not when the land of Dreams also needed her. In an attempt to live in both worlds she started to travel back and forth between the land of Dreams and the land of Magic.
It got to the point where she was traveling every day between the land of her dreams and the land of magic, trying to keep a happy balance between both. Leaving the land of Magic meant she lost her magic powers and everything seemed a little colder and people a lot more distant while in the land of Dreams. But in the land of Dreams, she was doing what made her happy. She lost nothing leaving the land of Dreams, except that the land of dreams was very far away so she had to travel there for a long time each day. Unfortunately in this fairytale there is no such thing as happy balance between dreams and power. And it soon became apparent to the girl that she was going to have to choose, one or the other.
The thing is, how does one decide between the two? If she chose the land of Dreams, it meant not only loosing her magic powers but also loosing everyone that she was close to and cared about. And if she chose the land of Magic, That meant giving up her dreams and the bright future she wanted for herself.
What would you do if stuck in that girl's place? What choice would you make?

Whatever you decide you'll have the full support of your friends and family here. [Gabriel's confident he can speak for them on this because he knows a fair amount of her social circle and knows what they're like.]

Someone once told me that if you flip a coin, the side that you hope it lands on dictates the path your heart wants you to take. Not that's always the best choice, but it may help.

While you would lose everyone and those who were close to you, you still need to look after yourself. Both your dreams and the future you made for yourself.
[Pause]
By the way, any reason why you wanted to tell this story?
Re: text
As for looking after myself, its a lot harder to do when there is no one there to catch you when you stumble. Sure I'd have my parents, but they wouldn't understand what I gave up.
text
I don't know whatever you're going through but it seems like you should talk to your parents about this.
[Said the hypocrite]
