I know that in many cases true art is fleeting but...


[Haruka holds up a small stack of badly singed and burnt papers. On his hand, one will notices various bandaids around his fingers.]

I really would have liked if I could have shown these drawings to someone before they got destroyed. One of them was really special, too...

I was prepared for a life of magic and the super natural, but I really wasn't ready for a lighter with a mind of its own to break into my house and burn a bunch of my art. [A quick weary sigh before a familiar smile is back on his face.]

Oh well! This just means I get to draw them again and better than ever! And the most important thing is no one was seriously hurt. I got a few little burns but it's nothing time won't fix! I just wanted to make sure everyone knew to watch out for the little guy that caused all this trouble...It's a small lighter, one that people use for cigarettes and stuff. If there's anything else I should be worrying about, please let me know!

Actually, I didn't stop it.

It hopped onto my desk, lit my papers on fire, and then just...jumped out the window.
