[network/action]
[ network, video (shitty webcam), Thursday morning (3/20) ]
[ Angeline is sitting on her bed, a bit hunched over to get her face in view. Behind her and off to the side is a cork board with various print outs and magazine cut outs pinned onto it hanging on a pale lilac wall. With her low quality webcam, it's impossible to discern what the decorations are.
Angeline herself looks mildly vexed. ]
Can I crash at someone's place for a few? My parents have been flipping their respective shits at me since that huge snake monster trashed the city. In fact, that's how they wanted to start the day today! Bitch, bitch, bitch. It's ridiculous.
[ A: action, de beach, Thursday late afternoon/evening (3/20) ]
[ After another argument with her parents, Angeline snatches a coat and storms out of the bed and breakfast. She winds up on the shore just a handful of minutes away, kicking at the sand. Eventually, she starts picking up stones, shells, and anything that looks throw-able, then sits and does just that -- throw them into the water.
If someone also happens to be walking the shore at this time of night despite the cold weather, they'll come across her.
Unless someone happens to have metaphorical balls of liquid fire and is actually in the water, in which case, looks like there's a three-inch rock sailing right at them. ]
[ B: action, grocery store, Friday noon (3/21) ]
[ Angeline is spending her lunch break sitting at one of the benches along the store's front. Normally, she'd spend it inside the staff break room, but someone's lunch included Patis. Her nose no can handle, Randall.
Her own 'lunch' is more of a dessert train, really. She's got a peanut butter and jelly sandwich in her hand and a slice of strawberry shortcake from the bakery section at her side, waiting to be consumed. Her drink of choice? Sweetened tea.
In her other hand is her phone. She's playing Candy Crush and lifting her sandwich to her mouth for another bite when suddenly!!
A wayward scarf or hat carried by a strong gust of wind slaps right into her face. ]
[ C: action, a bus, Friday afternoon (3/21) ]
[ This particular bus is well-populated, but luckily there's a seat unoccupied by a body.
Unluckily, the seat is instead occupied by several plastic bags full of candies, pastries, and general teeth-rotting foodstuff. The girl sitting next to it is obviously the owner -- she's got one hand holding the handles of the bags. She appears not to be paying attention, earbuds plugged into her phone.
Unbeknownst to her, a gaggle of middle schoolers are pointing at her hair and (unsuccessfully) whispering about how she's the same crazy chick who was flying around on the news and driving a stolen pink Cadillac with horns and another crazy chick on the hood on the ninth, when Wise Snake appeared. ]
[ ooc: Action options open to one character each! ]

[ Pretend that is its own reply while Angeline roots through her bookshelf. A dusty rose-colored spine with flowery silver font.

Marianne Kurosawa
Ah hah. ]
I have one of her books. My mom likes them. I can't remember if I started reading it or not.
What's the matter with living alone? You're queen of the roost.
