[semi-open?] time to have a chat
Who: Calling all cops + special FBI guest star
When: 3/19, evening
Where: Private room at a karaoke bar
What: Figuring out what to do and what to say to the FBI
[What do corrupt and numbered cops do after shit hits the fan and Feds are poking around? Go karaoke, that's what. Who in their right mind would think a group of people singing bad songs were actually talking about something serious? Not most people, at least that's what Karl hoped while booking a private room. He'd told the cops he knows are numbered and told them to spread the word to any other ones that there'd be a meeting this evening at, yes, a karaoke bar.
Sitting down and talking about what to do feels necessary now. The FBI doesn't mess around, but neither do the corrupt cops. Between a rock and a hard place describes their situation fairly accurately. Maybe this place had been an even better place to pick than Karl thought because they'll probably need to unwind after all the seriousness. Hopefully no one minds that a special guest star from the FBI might make an appearance, too.]
