"True, I can't argue with that logic." It definitely put things on a level that were easier to understand. Still crazy, mind you.

It really did. The helpfulness certainly took Tony by surprise, he was accustomed to being invisible more often than not. It was just the way things were, they sucked, sure, but what could you do? But here he'd discovered a level of welcome that was entirely uncanny.

He still wasn't entirely certain how to respond to it all. "Maybe I'll try it out in a while. Might get lucky," The echoes were still weird to him, but he'd adjust in time. "Oh, wow I figured you'd been around longer. Sure seemed to know what was going on anyway. Guess I'm not too behind after all." Which did make him feel a little better, not being too horribly new.
