There are remarkable people connected to this network - or, better to say, there are people who have the potential to become remarkable. If we managed to pull together I personally believe we could make progress.
Unfortunately a few blunders made by -- certain individuals -- have all but made sure of separation and suspicion. For now, at least. It won't be easy to come back from that.
I do believe you're right about that. Even if they aren't afraid of us, it doesn't seem like they want to deal with us.
