[It's Holly again! This time without questions! Behind her is a living room, a brunette boy is running around behind her and there is definitely smoke in the house.

No fire alarm yet though.]

So! I found out how to use the card! It just-

[From behind her Skyler's voice can be heard. "Aaaw - I - Holly, could you tell it to stop wandering around. I was just through here a second ago." Her head turns to look for the card, the fiery form of a boy appears behind her as she looks away from it.]

I'm not really sure it listens to me? Ah! Um! Please don't go near the couch Firey, please?

[The view of her video goes to the couch more, the fiery figure floating above the couch with a mischievous look on it's face.

Skyler's voice comes again, this time closer. "... It's not listening. Yo, buddy, seriously? I will stick you in a car wash and pay for the longest cycle, I swear to god." The card hovers before heaving a sigh and quickly there's a bit of a flash of light before it reverts back to it's card form and floats across the room over to Holly who sighs in relief.]

Thank gosh. Oh oh, the curtains, Skyler! [It seems they reignited just before the card switched forms, maybe one last trolling before giving up?]

[ UUUUUUGGGGH. ]

Holly, turn that off. [ He takes the wet towel he got at the beginning of this mess (it's more like damp now, and it's pretty charred HAHAH) and starts beating at the curtains. ] Why hasn't your fire alarm gone off yet?

[keywarding]

Oh- You know I don't-? [BEEP BEEP BEEPSpeak of the devil.]

Shoot! [Running for the step ladder she climbs it to wave her hand in front of the fire alarm on the wall just down the way from the curtains. Yep those were ruined, she'd never be able to explain that.]

Mom is going to be so mad!

[strikeraid]

I'll say it's my fault and pay for some new ones, it's fine. [ He's yelling over the fire alarm. Hope she heard that! Skyler looks back at the camera she was using... then takes the towel and throws it over it, effectively blocking it entirely. There is a sharp noise, muffled a little by the towel, and when Skyler removes the towel again, the curtains are no longer on fire! They are still charred beyond recognition, though. ]

Just take it out of the wall, Holls, that'll turn it off.

Take it out? [She yells back, wobbling on the stool for a second, bracing her hands on the wall to look up at the thing up close.]

Taylor always did this! [He's the tall one! Still she's fiddling and finally pops it open.] Success!

[strikeraid]

[ Blessed. Fucking. Silence. He sighs, rubbing at his ears, then walks out of the camera to make sure Holly's okay. ]

Yep. Can you open the windows? We have to air the place out. [ And Skyler can get to work taking those ruined curtains down. B( ]

[Smiling, she nods and hops down from the step ladder, leaving it where it is so they could fix the smoke detector later.]

So, I promise I didn't know that was going to happen. [She calls back, hopping over the back of the couch to get the window next to her dads chair open.]

No, you definitely would've burned your house down on purpose. [ THE SARCASM IS STRONG IN THIS ONE. ] It's seriously okay, your friend just has an attitude problem.

I think he might be... bored? [She shrugs. That's the feeling she got from the card when she summoned it. First elation from herself for doing it, then a little bit of feeling then - yeah then it was setting her curtains on fire.]

[strikeraid]

I get bored. I don't end up lighting up in people's houses, though. [ Just in cars. And in party houses. and. okay maybe not the best topic to broach with his little sister's best friend.

Cough, cough. Ugh. The smoke is starting to clear, thanks to Holly, but it's going to take a moment. He's gotten the first set of curtains half down, and he's standing on the couch to do it. At least his feet are bare? ]

Ack. Holly, you ok? Nothing left on fire, right?

I'm fine, you be careful! [She calls over, she's made her way to one more window, facing the backyard and opens that one too.]

Nothing looks like it's on fire, I'm serious though. I think he was bored. He didn't set anything on fire that could have killed us.

[She's come to stand closer Skyler as she thinks.]

I'll be ok. [ Whoa. He stumbles a little as he says that, bringing the first curtain set down with him. Phew. Good thing he doesn't instinctively hover, or else that would've blown his cover. He just stumbles down the couch and lands on his ass. :D ]

So he could've killed us, but he didn't. And we're supposed to be... Okay? With that?

[Shaking her head, she leans over the back of the couch to look down at him. Burned curtains and all.]

Well supposedly you could kill me too but I trust that won't happen.

[The sentence is out before she even thinks and quickly she's wishing she hadn't said that, hopefully he'll take it as the tease she meant. She's not getting enough sleep if she'd let something like that slip easily.]

I was thinking that but he didn't really like me yelling at him. In fact I'm pretty sure he set the curtains on fire the first time because of me trying to yell at him to be careful.

[ 8( HOLLY NO. He looks at her for a second, contrite, then starts untangling himself from the curtain and folding it up, hiding his face as best as he can. God damn his inability to hide his feelings. ]

I have just the one. I know there are more I just can't remember any others... and I haven't gotten anymore back yet. I don't think they all start fires, this one was named The Firey so it makes sense.

[Pressing her lips together, she leans over the couch more and lightly tugs on his hair once, smiling at him.]

And like you. I know I'm safe. [She's apologizing in her own way for the comment.] So... how exactly are we going to explain this again? I mean it's my fault I don't want you to have to pay for it.
