Who: Whoever Phillip invited 8D
When: Saturday night
Where: "The most generic of run-down parks."
What: Matt asked Phillip to help him find people to keep a handle on him as he attempts to recreate an echo. They could end up biting off more than they can chew.
[He feels... stupid. He sits on the bench, hands stuffed in his pockets, watching his breath go up in mist under the moonlight. He feels... uneasy as he studies the size of the moon, and uncomfortable at the idea of what he's going to do. It just goes against all instincts of self-preservation.
Night is better than daytime right? Sure half the people attending are kids but it's better to do something like this at night, considering he could end up misfiring and fucking everything up and summoning a giant monster that he can't control, and what would happen then? Plus, it gets dark at like six o'clock anymore and the weather's been awful so it's not too late, and there probably won't be many people out.
He can't shake the feeling that something is going to go wrong, and he tips his head back to stare at the sky while he waits. Either he's going to make a fool of himself or things are going to change. Either way, there's no turning back now.]

Hi!

[Getting out of the house with his sword is always a bit of a challenge, considering granny still doesn't know he has the thing, but he's gotten pretty good at it by now. And considering what might happen, he sure as hell hadn't been about to come without a weapon.
[He's a quieter, more subdued sort of kid than Phillip, so he just nods when they get to Matt and offers a brief:] Hey.

Hello.

When the greetings are exchanged he just nods a bit, shuffling his feet. He's around to help in case things get out of control. He'll let Philip do the talking though.]

But how is he supposed to explain that he's shooting himself in the head with a fake gun to see if a monster will come out? How does he know it will even work? What if it doesn't? He'd be wasting everyone's time, and he'd make a complete fool out of himself. But if he had this power, he doesn't know how else to get it back.]
... I don't know that this is going to work. But... thanks. [Though he didn't know any of them. None of them came because of him, of course. But a thank you is necessary nonetheless.]

Only Phillip isn't actually explaining what's going on either, so this next sentence probably is going to sound really weird.]
You have a gun thing, right? [he means a fake gun, but... well. It's Phillip.]
