this whole THING. With Proud, and the snakes, and whatever. Because it's terrible. It's basically totally terrible. In every way, except that I guess the snakes aren't a thing anymore.

But you know, tragedy makes you stronger, right? Like, that's what happened all the time in Greece, with all those heroes who had to perform crazy tasks and would accidentally kill their dad, but then they got magical lion skins and stuff. So maybe I'll get something out of this? I hope it's not a magical lion skin, though. I like lions. They should get to keep their skin.

My point is sorry I was yelling at everyone earlier. I was kinda freaking out. I feel better now, though. It's very warm in here.

It is terrible. But there... isn't a whole lot we can do about it, not anymore. You s-shouldn't beat yourself up over it, though. You couldn't have known until far too late, and there were so many things that had to go wrong at the same time for this to happen...

...it's really not that important, I guess. I'm glad you're feeling better, and I don't think most of us mind being yelled at for something like t-that. I know I'd be a hypocrite if I said I did. Not with as much as I whine on here.

They're bad. It's so sad and ephemeral and terrible, but also somehow beautiful.
