[Ravi's not actually hungry, but he finds himself in the cafeteria anyway because he needs a break that will actually be a break, instead of ending five minutes in with someone dragging him back out onto the floor. Why does the ER even have a breakroom? It's certainly not for the nurses.]

[anyway the point of all that is to say Ravi is wandering into the cafeteria for a cup of coffee and 30 minutes off his feet. but while he's trying to decide where to sit, he spots Sam and hey doesn't she look really familiar? it clicks when he sees the wheelchair.]
[normally Ravi prefers his downtime to involve avoiding human interaction on any level, but he's been feeling lonely enough lately that the prospect of spending at least part of his break with one of the recurring patients he actually likes doesn't sound like a bad idea at all. he comes over to her table, but doesn't sit yet. kind of rude before you've established whether or not the other person wants you there, in his opinion]
