Jasmine had felt somewhat good about herself. She had gained a new power she could use, she had fought to protect her sister... and for some reason, despite it being another sign that this "Dark Precure" wasn't on the up and up, it made her feel powerful. And so, Jasmine had gone to sleep both that night and the the night of the 26th feeling rather good about herself.

She woke up that morning feeling good as well. But the next morning would not afford her that luxury.

She dreamed. She dreamed of a battle on a floating, idyllic field. She dreamed of a battle between herself, and Cure Moonlight. She dreamed of a man in a mask, and a tree of great power and importance.

She dreamed of her victory as Dark Precure, and of her sister disappearing into light.

Jasmine awoke in a cold sweat, fear overtaking her mind. She gripped the sheets of her bed until her knuckles were white, and she sat there for what seemed like forever, unable to move. Her mind screamed to find Lily, to tell her what she had witnessed...

... No. Their being enemies was one thing. But Jasmine... Jasmine could very well have killed Cure Moonlight as Dark Precure. This... this would make Lily hate her forever.

At least, that was Jasmine's reasoning at the time. A week passed. Slowly, she began to regain the rational part of her mind that Lily had touched upon the last time they spoke. But this was still going to be difficult...

She took a deep breath... and took out her phone.

Oh joy. I'm back on the "echos suck" train again.

Why can't they all be cool powers?

If the blasts are the echo, that's what I meant. What do they do that makes them so useless?

Aha! What's the memory, then?

All right.

I don't think the memories' main purpose is to be useful.

Yes. I get what you mean. It's incredibly frustrating.

No. But it looks like that's just something we have to live with.
