daisy daisy...
Who: Elian Price + Robert Holloway
What: Awkward metal spine conversations and maybe fixes
When: 01/13
Where: Elian's living room
Holloway doesn't sleep often, not because he hates sleeping or finds it difficult, but simply because his lifestyle isn't conductive to passing out wherever he wants to. Well, it is if he wants to get kicked awake by a park official or someone else on the street, but otherwise no. Now that he's staying--for a given definition of the word 'staying' since he is rather a free spirit-- in Elian's basement, worrying about when he'll next be able to sleep isn't actually a problem anymore.
Which makes it all the more irritating that he can't actually sleep that well now.
His back doesn't actually feel most sensations where the spine is concerned, which is bizarre considering how important that part of the body is, but when he touches it he doesn't actually feel it in the actual metal. It's just... dead around there. The sensation has been keeping him awake for the last few hours and he's just about had enough. Maybe the dent in his back is making things worse?
Robert looks around for a bit, then listens quietly for the sound of anyone really moving around in the basement. Satisfied enough by the lack of sound, he peels off his hoodie and the shirt underneath it. He's not entirely against anyone seeing his back ever, but he'd rather not have to deal with it now. He could save himself the trouble by looking at it in the bathroom, but he's feeling sluggish and tired and annoyed and not really up to getting up from the couch. He pokes at his back gingerly a few times.
Nothing. Ugh.
