It's a heavy burden. We... our past selves all gained this p-power one way or another. But we are not them. We are ourselves... but the power is still ours. Maybe we're not ready. Maybe there's something we're missing. Maybe there was s-something special about them, that we don't have. But there's nothing else we can do about it. So... we need to know what they did. What they've been through. Because it c-could mean the difference between winning and losing. Between life and death. I take this seriously, because Rikka took this seriously. Because it is my responsibility to put everything I have into this, so I can live with no regrets.

That is w-why I'm happy to do the things I do. Even if I'm not on the student council anymore... I still have that drive, and it's important to me that I keep going until the day I'm not needed anymore. I do this so other people d-don't have to. So everyone... can live in peace.
