Just be careful about where you use the information. We're not a hundred percent sure exactly how much is real, and how much is made to look real.

The best rumors always have a grain of truth, although that saying is usually for things far more believable than some of the things I've read.

I've been getting the feeling that the police and Thunder Corp are only telling their lackeys so much and half of that might just be false in case we've got mind readers or something. I don't know any more.

For every post in this thing that seems to provide some relevant information, there's five or six of useless chatter and people freaking out.

And that's not even going into how much of this "information" is truth and how much is insane conspiracy.

no kidding. i've been tempted to start asking for sources

as far as i can tell, most of the actual INFO is still hearsay. and the further it travels from the source, the more conjecture gets thrown into the mix

I've noticed that, too. With that and their supposed sources, it makes it awfully inconvenient for us to try to fact check any of this hearsay.

which, in turn, makes it easy for someone to shove "facts" in your face like they're just that: facts. then they get upset when someone tries to present an alternative. because it's not as though their information could be being manipulated, right?

Of course not. The mental leaps that people can cling to when they want to believe their information is true and they know exactly what's going on can be astounding.

One of the downsides to text, sarcasm doesn't accurately convey. That was sincere, though.
