So it's looking like more and more of us remember stuff like giants and titans and the 3DMGs and the Survey Corps... I was thinking maybe we should all get together and share what we know with each other? Maybe we can have a better idea of what this "world" was and why all our past lives had that in common. Who knows, we might learn something that can help us out now.

Obviously, we're all in a bit of a bind with how tough things are, but since Bertl and I can't really go outside... maybe you guys could come here? You guys can bring some snacks and stuff and we'll just talk about things. I mean, I know our memories can get kinda gruesome, but it'll help to share and know you're not alone, right?

Of course, uh, this means you guys are gonna have to see my face, so... let me know if you want me to show you now so you don't flip out in front of all of us, haha.

Unfortunately, you're gonna have to bring your own snacks. Bertl and I haven't had to eat in weeks.

My skin's hardened and my jaw can do this weird... thing where it unhinges and you can see all the flesh underneath. So it's pretty bad.

Not to mention I've already made two kids freak out at the sight of it, so...

[ So he's really self-conscious... ]

That might be a good idea. The ridges are still kind of weird, but they're not as... inhuman. I hope.

I think part of the reason might have to do with some echoes, too. That's why I wanna be careful and warn everybody. My face... was pretty well known, I think.

That sounds like a good idea. Moving around might be a little dangerous for him, but it'll be good to get out of the house, at least.

We can minimise the danger easily enough. If he wears a hood and we avoid the police he should be fine. If you start the meeting in the evening/night I could even risk wearing my gear under my coat in case we do need to escape quickly.

Yeah, I've heard of a couple more. At least I'm not alone in this. My boyfriend is starting to get it, too.

You're aware that saying you don't want Alan to get in trouble is a lot like saying that you're not so keen on the sky being blue?

Nah, I wanna be there. We've kind of got an idea for how I can stay inconspicuous enough to get around without drawing attention.
