Well, I was planning on us going down tonight but it looks like that's not possible anymore. Place must be crawling with cops. Might not be a bad idea to check it out later, but I don't think that's in the cards right now. Looks like school's closed, if you want we can put some sort of strategy meeting together. We've got all these maps of the town, might as well figure out a next move in private while the town is going nuts. Anybody else who wants in, let me know.

At this point, figuring out more of what's going on. We can't make any moves right now, but I'll figure something out. This whole bombing is fishy.

But yeah. When the cops back off, I want to see the damage. From what I can see online, the fuckers got at least one of my favorite spots with that bullshit.

Might be good cover to treat it like an urbex memorial or whatever. Or even just general rubbernecking. Make a story, hash it out between us and stick to it.

A shared alibi is a good idea, not hard to pull off and keeps us hopefully under the radar.

I haven't had a run in with the dogs yet, do they do anything if their dog is sniffing at you? I presume they don't just make you disappear or we'd be hearing a lot more about it.

We've already lost at least 3, 4 people that just vanished off the radar and there's too many of us to keep tabs on everyone so it might be more.

That definitely complicates things. Might be safe to travel in groups if we have to go anywhere near the dogs.

Would that help? For all we know more of us together makes us easier to track.

Maybe, but I'm thinking if we're together it's harder for them to make us disappear... and easier for one of us to peel off and make the dog disappear.

I agree with hashing out a story if it turns out we make a move after all.

Unless it's a huge group or a mixed one, I can't imagine how it'd be harder.

And unless you're going for a direct assault which sounds like the worst idea ever, can't imagine how you'd get rid of the sniffer.

We can probably work on that while it's under quarantine. I hate sitting on my hands and not doing anything.

There are a few ways. Luring it away comes to mind but I'm not crazy about killing animals if I can avoid it. Probably our best bet is to use perfumes, colognes, or other scents to try to throw it off. Even trained bloodhounds aren't all THAT accurate, so assuming these are reasonably normal animals tricking them shouldn't be too hard.

I don't think memories have a smell. Pretty sure whatever they've trained it to pick up isn't normal either.

It's important information we need to confirm though. If they aren't operating under conventional rules like us, where are they coming from? How can they be stopped? If we travel in packs, we might be able to figure some of these things out without getting caught right away. Way I see it it's only a matter of time either way so we have to start figuring stuff out and these dogs are probably the biggest threat.

I still don't see how being in a group is going to help. Not unless someone in that group has stuff that can cover everyone else. I can only cover my own ass and a D&D shootout isn't going to help anything.

Have you ever seen the response to a police brutality incident? It's pretty intense. If there are a lot of us in a reasonably public area, they can't touch us.

I'm not worried about them beating on us, I'm worried about them arresting us, hauling us away and fucking killing us once we're out of sight!

If you're by yourself you have a much higher chance of getting grabbed. If we make a scene it'll be all over social media. We'll be ID'd by the press, the works. And if we vanish? The police can't get away with that in this day and age, it's literally impossible.

The police are not all-powerful dieties and if you've been following news trends you've seen there's a lot of issues with them these days. They offed what? Four people? There are hundreds of us. If we stick together they have no way to cover up that much, especially since they have to be careful or we and our freaky powers can cause a scene. I guarantee you if there's a large scale confrontation it'll hit national news and we'll all be ID'd. If any of us mysteriously disappear that will ALSO hit national news and we'll have Federal investigators crawling all over this place faster than you can blink and public opinion going south almost immediately. We stick together, we stay in view of the public whenever possible, we're as safe as we can be.

They fucking killed Paul's entire family, Jack and what's his nuts that crazy fucker Jack was staying with are gone and missing, there's that Candy chick, someone else I don't fucking remember, and now one of my fucking classmates is MIA and likely got shoved on a bus to get her brain sucked out or whatever the fuck happens when they take someone away!

Where did I EVER say that sacrifices wouldn't be necessary? Four people are dead. That's just the beginning. But if we don't make some noise, we're all going to die like dogs. We need to rattle some cages, make some noise. Some of us will have to throw our lives down on the table to make this shit happen. They can't mind control the whole world, they can't stop the tides of public opinion, and they damn well can't silence those who won't be silenced.

I don't know what the hell you're doing but I'm not sitting around playing kid's games. We have precious few resources but they exist. If you want to squat in the corner with your head between your legs that's fine but I'm here to do something about this.
