HAPPY WORLD OCTOPUS DAY EVERYONE

OCTOPUSES ARE PRETTY GREAT

DID YOU KNOW THAT THERE ARE OVER 300 SPECIES OF OCTOPUS AND THAT THEY'RE ALL POISONOUS BUT ONLY ONE KIND IS DEADLY TO HUMANS

AND OCTOPUSES ARE REALLY SMART THEY'RE KIND OF HARD TO KEEP CONTAINED IN AQUARIUMS SOMETIMES AND THEY'RE REALLY GOOD CONVERSATIONALISTS EVEN THOUGH I HAVEN'T REALLY HAD MUCH OF A CHANCE TO TALK WITH ANY THE ONES I DID GET TO TALK TO WERE ALL AT THE BEACH AND ALL PRETTY GREAT ONE EVEN HELPED ME GIVE SOME GUY WHO WAS GIVING SOME OTHER GUY A HARD TIME A WEDGIE

ALSO THEY CAN CHANGE THEIR COLOR AND SKIN TEXTURE FOR CAMOUFLAGE IT IS PRETTY OUTRAGEOUS

THEY'RE 90% MUSCLE SO THEY'RE ACTUALLY REALLY STRONG AND STUFF

THEY CAN ALSO SQUIRT INK TO CONFUSE PREDATORS IT IS A USEFUL SKILL

AND LOOK AT THIS BABY ONE HATCHING ISN'T IT ADORABLE

[This entire message has a much different effect when viewed on water - Cinderella is actually somewhat genuinely mystified if disturbed by the shapes of the little beasties, with their definitely not land-fit shapes, snaky limbs, big bug eyes... Little grimace on the second to the last one; certainly creepily lit.

THE THIRD ONE IS MORE MAJESTIC THAN CUTE BUT CUTE IS AN EASIER SELL AS FAR AS PROMOTING GOOD RELATIONS BETWEEN THE PEOPLE OF THE NETWORK AND OTHER OCTOPUSES

AND THEY HAVE THREE HEARTS WITH WHICH TO PUMP THAT OUTRAGEOUS BLUE BLOOD TRULY AMAZING CREATURES

I know! Isn't it OUTRAGEOUS! It'll get more opaque as it gets older! And when it does, it'll have AMAZING abilities at camouflage!

[Arthur's excitement over these creatures is absolutely palpable; he's bouncing up and down a little.]

BUT THEY'RE STILL GETTING KILLED AND WILL NEVER GROW UP TO BE BIG AND MAJESTIC OCTOPUSES AND THAT IS JUST SAD

Not to mention adorable and really smart! I heard that some have even figured out how to use things like rocks as tools. They're pretty amazing if you think about it.

I ONCE WITNESSED A BIG ONE REMOVE THE SWIM TRUNKS OF A JERK AT THE BEACH WHILE HE WAS SWIMMING IT WAS AMAZING

OF COURSE HE HAD A LITTLE COACHING SINCE I CAN'T STAND BULLYING BUT HE CAUGHT ON REMARKABLY QUICKLY

I MAY HAVE CREATED A MONSTER BECAUSE I THINK HE MAY TRY TO DO IT AGAIN IF HE GETS BORED

i just dont really get it like theyre just octopuses whats the big deal.

The ones that get out of their aquariums and walks around. It's almost creepy how smart they are.

Really? I've always wondered about the lobster thing.

THEY ARE SOME OF THE MORE AMAZING CREATURES IN THE OCEAN WHICH IS ALREADY FULL OF OUTRAGEOUS AND WONDERFUL THINGS
