[ The handwriting that appears on the network is thick, blocky and impeccably neat; almost typeface-like in its uniformity ]

All right, I'll be honest. I have no idea what I'm doing here. I've been reading this... network over the last couple days, but everything I've seen here sounds absolutely insane.

[ Several dots appear as Walter taps his mechanical pencil against the paper, struggling to articulate his feelings. How are you supposed to react to this kind of thing?? He starts again, erases, tries again, erases again... this cycle continues for another minute or so, until -- ]

If anyone can give me a quick rundown of what this all means that would be ideal. Additionally, if anyone wants a sword one kind of

appeared in my room

I really don't know what I'm supposed to do with it. If my parents find it they're going to have a lot of questions that I can't even begin to answer, so I think it's best if someone takes it off my hands. For now, at least.

They aren't very cliche. We don't know much about them, either.

theres a FAQ but I think its out of date. what it comes down to is that were getting memories and shit from what may or may not be past lives. theres a conspiracy run by aliens or something. the cops and Thunder Corp works for them at least. there are monsters running around.

"May or may not be"? Is there any other possible explanation?

idek. it seems like the likeliest explanation but theres no way of knowing for sure. just didnt want to be misleading.

Quantum interference from other possible dimensions or some kind of hallucination allowing human minds to process information not normally comprehensible with three-dimensional thought. First one doesn't explain swords unless you go into Michael Crichton pseudoscience and the second one's a copout, though.

What type of sword did you obtain, if I may ask? (I am only curious... I think that the type has to have a significance!)

It looks old and it's clearly meant to be wielded with one hand. It's too heavy for me to manage that right now, though.

If we really are getting memories back from past lives do you think I'll eventually be able to use it? I mean, it has to be my sword, right? Or had to have been my sword, or... however this works.
