Just not usually as many of either, and no tides. [Actually there are tides in the Great Lakes, but they're a matter of like two inches, so he doesn't know.]
I think it just seemed... I don't know, milder. Sweeter, compared to the ocean. [He snorts] I mean it is literally, fresh water, but like... You've got your shipwrecks in some of the lakes, you know, they can kill you. But it's definitely not as big or mysterious.
