What: In which Aeron finally meets the guy who pointed a gun at his cute little sister.
Where: Hospital, Colette's room
When: August 5

[Visiting the hospital had not originally been part of his to-do list today, yet here he is. Richard glances around the unbearably clean lobby before making his way over to the lobby. The lady at front smiles brightly before providing both the floor and the room Colette's in. A thank you gets said before Richard starts toward his destination.

Maybe normally checking up on someone like this wouldn't have happened. Most people are more than capable of taking care of themselves and Colette probably has more than enough people to take care of her. Even knowing that, something still nagged him to go see her. Those strange feelings she'd mentioned were worrisome, as well. A small snort escapes him as he gets on an elevator. Who's he kidding? All that may be true but it boils down to guilt mixed with feeling indebted to her. Not only had the girl gotten a gun pointed at her point blank, but still had helped her almost shooter with stomach problems.

A ding rings out as it arrives on the floor. Richard steps out of it and continues to the room. No point in dwelling on the reasons why when the destination is a few seconds away.]

[Completely unaware of the visitor he and his sister are about to have, Aeron lingers in Colette's hospital room to keep her company. His laptop and some files are spread out on the small table, though he doesn't seem to be paying much attention to them. Instead, his gaze often flickers over to the figure on the bed as she rests.]

Are you hungry? I can check if the cafeteria has anything you like.

[ She laughs a little, shaking her head. ]

No, I'm okay.

[ Even though she and Aeron have only connected a short time ago, it's cute how brotherly he's gotten in such a short period of time. She likes it -- she was always an only child, before, and the fact that she has someone she can rely on through this is a blessing. ]

What about you? You haven't eaten in a while, have you?

[Now that she mentions it, he hasn't eaten in a while, as the clock on his laptop tells him. Aeron sighs, rolling his shoulders and standing up.]

I'm going to the cafeteria for something. If they have any dessert I'll bring some back. [He gives her a hesitant smile. Their relationship is still in the works, but it still bothers him when he doesn't know something about her. Does she even like sweets?]

Anyway, I won't be too long.

[As soon as Aeron steps outside, he nearly runs into Richard.]

[The last thing Richard expected when arriving at the door was for someone to run right into him. A small oomph escapes him before he takes a few steps back. Whoever this individual is, he had not been paying too much attention.

Then again, that could be said for both of them. If Richard had been less distracted by his thoughts, the collision may have been entirely avoided. This reason alone is enough to necessitate an apology.]
