Based on what I've seen here, information is pretty sparse. Forgive me if I ask something someone else already had, I only went back so far on this...forum.

[He assumes that's the thing to call it, it's among the descriptions others use. And it is what it looks like. Other people have mentioned those numbers and that's already an immediate relief to him. Maybe there isn't something wrong with him]

Is there any general consensus on how we're accessing this, or why? I understand no one has set information, but I would like to know what people think about it. From what I can tell, the people here are fairly diverse.

not really. some of the pulses or echoes seem to bring up questions over if we're reborn or if we're slowly being changed into something that ca fight better against whatever the enemy is. as far as anyone can tell, this system is a kind of enclosed to only people that have the numbers. no one else can see it and really, if you want to see how weird it is, try writing the numbers on any surface.

yeah, it sounds weird but it's what's going on. i have vague memories of people i've never met, a city that doesn't even exist on any map, and other people have even more details about a life that never was.

That does seem to be an appropriate description for it. For my part, I haven't seen that much, but I'm seeing references to it. What do people outside of this network perceive?

Does the type of surface matter?

That would certainly make our government more menacing, if it turned out to be the case.

I would imagine that it would likewise render it impossible to do anything about the matter.

You're not mistaken. At first, I was reluctant to say anything here, so this is my first time doing so.

I appreciate the welcome. Have you accessed these forums often?

some do, some don't. it's just as random as the people that get invited to the secret numbers club.

normal things. take those statues they had in the museum. normal people thought they were the best things ever. we saw them as simple ugly pieces of stonework. take those creatures people have been seeing. we see them as they are. normal people see them as normal animals.

Can we be sure that the way we're perceiving those things is accurate? I presume that we are a minority in these circumstances. There aren't enough people here to be anywhere close to the city's population.

all of us are seeing the same things. i can't say it's a perfect way of proving anything but we've been attacked by some of the things we see, and some have been injured even.

It must be a very large puzzle, in that case. Someone with much more power than the average citizen would have to coordinate something like that, though I have no idea who would want to.

How serious have these injuries been? From the sounds of it, I take it only people who see these things are harmed.

we do need to get a little more organized but right now, too much is happening to people for it to really cross their minds.

a few caught in the cave-in had been take out for a while. one of the first people was killed and his family died for just talking to the police. so this thing has to be kept quiet.

This really is bizarre.

Being more organized probably would benefit everyone, if it was possible. At the very least, I would think it'd be safer.

Someone was killed, and their family? Does anyone know who or what was behind that?

the police. it was all in the news about their home burning down and stuff, but there's a recording of what really happened in the network here.

I find it difficult to imagine that. But then, I could have said the same about messaging someone by writing on paper.

It may be that there simply needs to be a leader who steps forward. Sometimes, the right person can make a big difference even by doing something small.

I'm unsure I'd want to watch that, but that's awful.

Given how new I am to this forum, I'm unsure. Though I'm not fit to be a leader myself, I want to do something about it.

There has to be a way that it can change. Who knows whose family could be next, if things go on as they are?

i think that most people here want to either distance themselves from it, or learn more. having a leader type might just mean that the enemy can find us easier.

Alternatives may need to be explored. I may be wrong, but it sounds to me that no one knows with certainty how any other scenario would play out. Only the present state of affairs.

It's selfish, but I won't allow that to happen to my family. I believe others must feel the same.

i think most of us are still trying to figure out what is going on and how to deal with their changes. i'm thinking that there is gonna be more of it showing up as days pass.

That could be true. I think looking back at old entries doesn't give me the same perspective on time as someone who was there for it. Do you think there are ways to help people who deal with more drastic changes than others?
