All right, listen up.

So, we're definitely up against the police, maybe the military, and a bunch of crazy mutant animals. It looks pretty bad, and it's not going to go away if we just ignore it.

[He takes a deep breath, and when he speaks again, he sounds more normal.]

If anyone wanted to learn to defend themselves, well -- I can show you how. I teach a martial arts class twice a week already, so...if anyone was interested...

[He trails off, a little unsure. Maybe he's regretting making this post -- maybe he's not going to get any bites, maybe people won't want to meet in person...]

If you're not okay with meeting in person, I get it. And it's gonna take time, and practice, if you want to get any good. And maybe there's someone on this network who can teach you better than me. But they aren't offering, are they?

A-are you sure that's necessary? I mean, the whole situation looks awful, and I know there's corrupt officers out there, but... there has to be a better way to deal with the government... Or animals...

Well, I'm taking first aid classes... might as well get some martial arts in my brain, too. This shit's serious, I guess. I mean, mom and dad aren't here to dissuade me from getting into physical stuff, right? They'd understand if they knew the circumstances!

Hell yes I want to learn martial arts! What kind of superheroes are we gonna be if we don't know stuff like that? Just let me know where and when.

I wish there were. But they've got animals that can track us. I don't know how long we're gonna be able to hide.

Actually yeah, now that my arms are like ten pounds heavier, it might be a good idea to learn how to actually use that to my advantage...

Yeah, mostly. There's some silicon compounds and some other weird material I haven't really been able to identify inside the outer casing, but the casing itself and the underlying scaffold is metal for sure.

While the guns aren't working 'cause I don't have a power source, I can also still open them up if I'm careful, which would probably also mess someone up if I hit them with the sharper edges.

...I mean, no one was hurt badly. Whitney got caught in some of the glass when it broke through the window, but it was really just scratches. She was pretty scared, but it could have been a lot worse.
