[Open] [Action] Echoes and ice cream....
Who: Nora and OPEN
When: Early Saturday afternoon
Where: Cold Marble Creamery
What: Tasty frozen treats are consumed while a very serious discussion is had. Or maaaybe just the tasty treats part....
{OOC: No tag order, respond and/or bring up new topics as you like. Making your own threads to talk amongst yourselves is perfectly fine.}
[Nora has pushed several tables in the ice cream parlor together and is sitting down enjoying a sundae. She has with her a list of super powers and a small stack of comic books. She waits until everyone else has gotten their tasty frozen treats before standing up like this was some kind of board meeting.]
Okay! Now we're ready to get started!
[It was important for everyone to get their ice cream first.]
I think we should begin with a classic. Super speed! Anyone remember being faster than a speeding bullet or able to outrun trains or something?

Yeah, me neither.
[But then a thought occurs to her.]
Hey, but you have that bird, right? Following you around? Maybe past you could talk to animals!
no subject
Talk to animals?
[She had to think about that.]
That sounds possible...

[Her mind wanders away for a moment, her eyes looking up, watching the clouds float by.
And, soon enough, she returns.]
Wait! I remember something!
no subject
[This is actually working? omg so excited!]
no subject
[She has to frown as the memories come back to her. A well, of all places?]
And I couldn't get out because my ankle was sprained. I was talking to this... bird skeleton down there.

no subject
[Not entirely sure, but enough.]
no subject
no subject
[Which sounds really weird when you think about it.]
no subject
Why? Did you know the bird when it was.... you know?
[Alive?]
no subject
[Which is... really weird when you think about it.]
Maybe? It could be the bird that followed my around a lot.
no subject
[She can't imagine having a conversation with the skeleton of a dead pet. That's depressing no matter how you look at it.]
no subject
[If that makes it any better. Although, having a dead spirit guide was pretty bad anyways.]
no subject
[Or... how a spirit can die in the first place?]
no subject
I remember I being around... and then not.
no subject
no subject
[She didn't want to think about what a dead spirit guide might mean.]
no subject
[She pauses. That sounded more like a real sentence in her head.]
Um, you know what I mean.
no subject
[And, this is besides the point...]
I'm thinking of naming it Kuu.
no subject
[She's imagining it scratching messages in dirt or something like that.]
That's a cute name! I like it.
no subject
[Why does everyone keep asking her to talk to it. She doesn't speak bird.]
And, uh, it likes to fly away a lot whenever I get close.
You like it? It was one of my friend's names. Like, my friends from the other place.
no subject
[Bird charades. Brilliant.]
Or maybe tap out the answers in morse code! With it's beak.
[Because a bird would know morse code?]
no subject
Really? Uh, well, I guess it could if it wanted to. I just have to get it to trust me.
