[Hai Numbers Network. Tonight you are greeted by a short haired brunette, brushing some behind her ear as she stands back, trying to straighten her phone before turning it around. In front of her is this painting she has been working on replicating from memory. It came to her in mention of 'floating lights'. So, naturally now she is playing detective and trying to figure out just what these lights are exactly. She's certain they aren't stars at least.]
Hey everyone. Look, so I kind of had another...echo thing. This painting. I think I got it replicated. I was just wondering if those....lights look familiar to anyone? What they might be? I mean, I don't think they're stars, so.....any other ideas?
And yes. That yellow seems to be a heck of a lot of hair. Or...something like that. Not what I'm too concerned about. I'm not sure if these lights have anything to do with the sun thing, but I'm going to see what I can figure online. Figured it couldn't hurt to get some ideas from you guys though.
So. Fire away.

Well, it reminds me of a van Gogh, but I'll bet anyone who knows anything about the subject'd tell you that. And that's about as much as I know: just barely anything.
[Audio]
[Oh. Oh right. She hasn't introduced herself to this guy yet and she doesn't know his name.]
I'm Solana.
[Audio]
You paint, then! [Lift for transition into what looks like the stuff of positive conversation - who'd-a thunk that when he came in saying he doesn't know a thing about art.]

Are any of those that sun shape you were looking for before?
And more importantly why does it look like she's sitting on top of a tree?
[ video. ]
As for the tree? I guess she climbed it? That's not the important part of the painting here.
[Clearly. Solana is way more focused on the lights themselves rather than the girl with the insanely long blonde hair. There is no recognition or similarity with her and that girl as far as she can tell. Her own hair presently in a short, choppy pixie-cut with the darker brown the opposite of that golden blonde.]

You know, these look like sky lanterns, uh.. Kongming, I think. They're used in a lot of festivals. They used to be used for military too, I think. My grandmother talked about them once or twice. Anyway, they're used for weddings and stuff today. It definitely looks like the girl is watching lanterns, but they're too far. Maybe she's watching a festival?
[ Akira finally leans back and props his hands up behind him as he relaxes, legs cross folded in front of him with his phone still propped up. ]
Do the lights match up to your other pulses at all?

Maybe it's abstract. It's possible that it's meant to evoke an emotion rather than depict something real.
[Audio]
[She shakes her head, biting her lip.]
I don't even really know the context of it. I just know that I really, really want to know what they are. At least, that's my emotions to it.

voice;
Well. Sorta like it. I'm not sure about the person with the long hair.
voice;
I'm more interested in the lights than the hair, really. And, I mean. Nobody could realistically have hair......that long.
voice;
It's a fall festival and I think they've banned some of it now, but when I was a kid we use to light up these little candles with these paper covers and let them go into the sky. They look sorta like that from far away.

Oh! They float lanterns down the river in honor of the dead during Obon. Maybe it's... a reverse of that?
voice;
[Wait. Wait. That word....]
Lanterns....?

Huh--oh! Oh, yeah. Lanterns. You know, like the crappy multicolored paper ones you can get at Party City? Only nicer, usually. Most of them are square-ish for Obon.

And hey, good job. I told you you'd get a second echo.
text;
Thanks! I got another one, but I can't really do anything with that. The whole. Sun thing. It's like there was this room and someone had painted all over and there were heaps of those suns.
And the frying pan.

That looks really good. What did you use?

Oh, like what sort of paints? I just used some acrylics on spare canvas my mother had around the studio.

Rapunzel?
[ Is he serious? Who knows. ]
[Voice]
[Like the fairytale? Okay, the hair is kind of. Ridic long but.]
I don't know. I was just copying what I remembered from the echo with the floating lights.
