Hello again, everyone.

I do hope everyone is doing all right. It seems like a lot has been happening lately. With the broadcast....I'm not as sure what to make of it myself. But I imagine others who have been involved in all of this for longer will have a better understanding of it all than I, who more recently was introduced to this network and everything.

But that isn't why I'm on the network right now. I was just wanting to say that I...I think I can heal. I know there was mention of a specific clinic set up to help those of us in need that might be....more obvious. I was wondering if I could ask to see about helping there? I don't know that I can do too much yet, but in the event that I do get better at this. I think I can at least help with more minor injuries and pains.

So, if someone can point me to who I'd need to talk to about this? I'd appreciate it.

Oh, um. Yeah. Practicing would be a good idea. I'm not sure how well it might work without someone being hurt though. And I'd rather it be somewhere more private than public.....

[It doesn't take too long for her to print out the assignment and hand it in at least. And Stella is decent with directions so she only gets lost once before finding the place fairly easily and quickly.

She pauses at the entrance, looking around before she sees Britany.]

Hey. I hope you weren't waiting too long.

Nah, not really. Wanted to slip outta class anyhow, so... Yeah.

[Britany nods.]

I'm Britany Ruff. Pleased to meet you. In person, I mean.

I just hope you don't get behind because you're here helping me....but it's good to meet you, in person. I'm Stella. Stella Lancaster.

[There is a nod and small wave of greeting. And then she bites her lip.]

I don't want you hurting yourself too bad to help with this. I'm just not sure how good my healing will be yet, how major injuries might be that I can manage to heal.

Please. I could probably skip every day that's left this semester and still come out with an upper B average. I'm a genius stuck in a school for normal people.

[Rita chuckles openly.]

Don't worry. We're going to limit the testing to minor or first-aid-treatable injuries that can be concealed easily.

[As if to prove the point, Rita pulls out a first aid kit... Probably stolen from the nurse's office or some kind of charity thing a few years back.]

That way, if something goes wrong, we can just kinda cover it up and move on with our evenings. Sound good?

It's.....still probably not a good idea if we skipped class all the time for this. People would notice and wonder what we were doing.

[Stella blinks, giving a relieved nod of agreement. She really should have thought ahead herself more about this, but she is glad that Britany seems prepared.]

Okay, good. I didn't want anything to go wrong and have you hurt too badly from helping me with this.

[She takes a deep breath, biting her lip and giving a nod.]

I'm ready when you are.

Please. No one notices me skipping out. Ever.

[Rita shrugs at that.]

Delinquent reputations do that, I guess. Anyways.

[Rita pulls out a small knife... And cuts into the flesh by one thumb. She hisses audibly at the cut.]

Different reputations? I guess if you are usually away then it's not so strange for the class not to see you....

[But even so. Stella would prefer to be there in case she misses something important. She's always been so serious about her studies though. There's a pause as she watches, biting her lip and wincing when Britany cuts her thumb.

Quickly, she's at the girl's side, holding her hands over Britany's as she closes her eyes. Remembering the echo, that familiar light.]

[As Stella approached, Britany tensed a bit. The idea of healing was kind of known to her, but here was where it got risky and unfamiliar - in practice.]

Huh. That's...

[astion]

That's it. A-are you okay? Did it work?

[Stella asks as she opens her eyes again, worriedly shifting and reaching to check Britany's finger where she had cut herself. That seems okay at least, which makes her relax a moment.]

That's....what? Is everything okay?

... It did. That's... Whoa. That's pretty cool.

'Cool'? I guess it kind of is. I'm just glad I'll be able to help with it. Hopefully I'll get better with it over time....But it helped? I'm glad.

[She is visibly relieved, clasping her hands together and her shoulders lowering as she takes a deep breath at that reassurance and encouragement. A light laugh escaping her lips as she manages a nervous smile.]

[Blastia....what does she mean? Stella hasn't heard of such a thing. So...at least, as far as she knows, she isn't using one for the healing. It was just....echoed back. Her eyes widen before frowning in confusion.]

What do you mean? A-are you sure you're okay?

... Erm. Is the name "Estellise" familiar to you, by any chance?

I just got a pulse, which caused me to say that...

Estellise? Well....George said he remembers me being called 'Estelle'. Which is close? It might be short for Estellise. But...what was that about a blastia?

It's... Well, the thing on my neck. But I think they may have taken other design forms too?

It's what lets me cast spells.

That necklace? I didn't think there was anything important about it until now. How does that work? It it that red crystal?

[She is curious, wondering and cautious at the same time, looking at the necklace at Britany's neck.]

Well, I don't know too precisely, but it's kind of a focus. The right words and motions, and I can work my will through it. Kind of like this.

[Burning energy started to form between Britany's hands...]

[Stella watches, wide-eyed at the sight of the flames, instinctively stepping back initially before becoming more curious and leaning in a bit more, watching.]

That's amazing! No match or lighter or anything!

[NOT THE TIME TO STOP FOCUSING ON SPELLCASTING! The fireball explodes on Rita's side, knocking her to the ground with some generally unpleasant burning.]
