So, let's talk a bit more specifically about something.
Vermini.
They're here in Vegas, as I've mentioned previously. We know the sorts of things this has led to in the past. Thus, it's reasonable that we work on tracking them. Seeing if there's anything about them here we can turn up. With a smaller search area than Locke City, this seems reasonable.
They weren't... handled by the aliens like everything else in Locke was, but that also may make some sense if only we are capable of seeing them. Perhaps this is something left over from what "Tiny" did, or maybe there's something else going on. Either way... Right now, this what we have to go on.
Obviously, I have friends here - we have a team. But I know there are other people around in Vegas. I want to know if anyone is willing to help us in this.
Further, I know Dr. Solus is interested in obtaining one for study. Banagher mentioned to me that no one was really able to pin one down and capture it before, but... We have a lot more abilities at our disposal now that I hope that can make up the difference. That said, with how fast they flee us upon sight, does anyone have any suggestions REGARDING capturing them? I have a few ideas, but... while our transformed speed and strength can make up for a lot, we'd also be likely to kill them with most of our attacks.
If anyone has any thoughts on them specifically, please... I'd like to hear them out.

As Lily thumbs off the connection to the Network, she gives a heavy sigh. Focus on work. That's why you're here, girl. Don't dwell on other things, and if you feel the need to, there's people here you can actually talk to about it. Maybe some that you should.
She shakes her head. It was one thing to remember yet another power - this time, something she could use when not transformed. A shield would be useful, after all. But the other memory... it seemed so innocuous, really. It came to her in a dream, and... in spite of that it was something which woke her from a dead sleep the previous night. At the very least, in this place she had a rather peaceful sight in such a situation to quickly calm her nerves.
But she'd seen her mother. No, not Lily's. Cure Moonlight- no, Yuri's mother. She had a mother, and yet... her father had been missing for years...
It bothers her on a different level than some of her past memories. No, she's well aware they're separate people (even if... that name...) but seeing Yuri on a personal level, for perhaps the first time... Even if she too lacked a parent, to know she had something Lily didn't- couldn't have... It feels almost petty to actually feel jealous of that.
A passing glance at her phone, and she wonders about picking it up and calling home. Talking to her father. She bites her lip, though.
The feeling passes quickly, and she rises to her feet.
Work, work. There was is to be done. She's not going to push this sort of thing off, no - but she'll handle it when it feels appropriate to talk to certain people in private. For now, she has things to do.

I had a pulse after watching that alien thing. I... I think it's one we need to talk about.
[she takes a deep breath]
Dark Precure and your other self were fighting. She wasn't Cure Moonlight at the time... I don't think she could be Cure Moonlight...
no subject
Couldn't become Cure Moonlight... and she was still fighting her?
[She couldn't imagine even trying to fight Jasmine without her powers.
Her eyes shift a bit, and then she focuses back on Jasmine. No. No more hiding from that, not anymore.]
Did either of them say anything...?
no subject
Yeah, it was actually pretty bad ass. She blocked a blow from Dark Precure with just her arm...! She couldn't hold on forever though... it looked like Dark Precure was gonna beat her and those other Precure, too... until some guy with glasses showed up...
[then she hears Lily's last question, and her eyes widen]
... well, um...
... She asked Dark Precure why she was always targeting her. And... and Dark Precure said... "Because you're me."
no subject
...so they did...
[She looks up tentatively.] "You're me." Just... what is that supposed to mean...?
no subject
I don't know... but... I think the two of them were connected somehow.
... But there's another thing I figured out, sis. If... if you couldn't transform, then that means there's a chance you weren't destroyed in that battle we both remembered. Maybe... maybe Dark Precure just made it so you couldn't transform anymore...?
no subject
[She frowns, and thinks back to her own recent memories.]
However, you... may be right. [She reaches and pulls out her medallion - no, her Precure Seed.] This shattered in the memory was saw with the Heart Tree, right?
I recalled her using it to defend against a monster, and she only had a fragment of it then. [A beat.] In related news, I can make a barrier now. Might be useful.
no subject
[as Jasmine spoke, her voice grew more and more unsteady. By the time she was finished, she was shaking and tears were beading at the corners of her eyes]
I didn't... she didn't kill you... thank god! Thank god...
no subject
Jasmine, don't... talk about them like that. They're not us, we...
[She bites her lip and closes her eyes. Then sighs.]
It's Yuri, for the record. Cure Moonlight's name was Yuri.
[She stops, mouth half open, uncertain of whether or not to say the next part:] ...it means "lily" in Japanese.
no subject
That's right. Those two other Precure, the one Cherry remembered, and the other one. They called her that. That's a really strong coincidence, isn't it? I... mean... it's a very pretty name regardless, but...
[she sighed, and tried to regain her composure]
I know they're not, Lily. But... the uncertainty of what that memory meant... it... I'm just glad to know it's not the worst, you know? Knowing we had to fight is one thing, but having the memory of one of us having to kill the other...
... I'm just glad that's not what happened...
no subject
That's an awfully... large coincidence, all the same, Jasmine...
[She gives a heavy breath.] Either way, it's a bit more information to go off of... which may be helpful, I suppose...
[Sometime. Maybe? Who knows, at this point.
She closes her eyes and thinks a moment. Trying to figure out if she should mention this next part, or keep it to herself, or...
Finally, she opens her eyes and swallows.]
I saw... I saw her mother, also. Yuri's. Her mother was there, but... her father... he'd been missing for years...
no subject
... Mom...
...
[which in turn, prompts something else]
... That... that day is coming up, isn't it? [she closes her eyes] What was she like? Was she anything like ours?
no subject
Yeah, I... guess it is. But, no... no, I don't suppose she was. But I... guess I shouldn't expect her to be... I don't know much of what she was like, just that she... kept setting a place for Yuri's father at the dinner table, even after he'd been gone so long, and...
[She brushes her hair back nervously, just... staring at the table between them.]
She was forcing herself to do that, though. At least... that's what Yuri thought.
[Her mouth twists a bit.]
There was a time here, where I sort of... resented Yuri. Without knowing her. Resented the coldness she had in her. But... now I'm starting to understand it...
[She gulps and just reaches up, pushing her glasses up and rubbing her eyes, feeling tears start to form.]
If there had been people I'd lost like that, or just disappeared... If you or Winter were just gone from my life, just like that. [Or murdered, like Cologne.] I don't think I could say I'd be any different...
[She lowers her hand after wiping her eyes, and finally looks at her sister while she readjusts her glasses.] That's... sort of the part that scares me.
no subject
[Jasmine reaches across to Yuri, and places her hand on top of the older girl's]
That's not something you have to worry about, Lily. I'll be here. Winter will always be here. Even if our echoes go away... I'll still be your sister. And I know you'll be unstoppable as far as protecting Winter goes...
[she showed her sister a sad smile]
If anything... you don't have to be scared of her... you can take what happened to her, and turn it into something better... A lot of the artists I look up to, they had something that caused them pain. But they turned all of that into beauty...
