[This has taken some time for her to set up, as made obvious by the nervous twitching on the metal and jeweled wings on her back and her eyes are looking down at the keyboard of her laptop. She takes a deep breath before looking up,scratching at her arm a little bit]

Umm...I I wanted to say thank you to those who I was with when everything happened. Even if I did end up sneaking away and getting into trouble.

[She shifts a little bit, her wings chiming a little bit as she does.]

I...I want to ask if anyone know how to hide wings...Dad does not know about them yet..and I'm afraid to tell him about them or anything else. It doesn't have to be right away but..It's going to be too warm to wear a sweatshirt or a jacket over them soon. Besides, I want to make it past my birthday without him knowing!

[A quick glance away before she just smiles a little bit.]

Any ideas would be nice!

My girlfriend has a wing. Her success rate at hiding it is pretty low.

I don't like the sound of that..how big is her wing?

Big...ish? I dunno, big enough that she needs a heavy coat to hide it, and the weather doesn't really cooperate with that.

Oh...That's the only way I've been hiding mine..and the sound they make is a bit muffled with that.

If it gets any warmer you'll stand out almost as much in a heavy coat. At least the wings have an explanation now.

There's only so long you can hide it if you're growing wings. He'll find out, so I think he'd be happier if you told him.

Do you think he'd try to rip them off? Aren't they a part of your body? At that point, if someone's trying to hurt you, call for help.

I don't think any but the worst father would do that, if they're really stuck.

I..I don't know. He didn't like it when things didn't work out good though back in France...but I hope not.
