PLOT: WISE SNAKE'S EMERGENCE

Who: OPEN.
When: March 9th, Sunday, daylight hours.
Where: The business district of Locke City.
What: An enormous snake monster is pissed.
Warnings: Violence.

[The alien explodes silently - but it explodes.

First in a small cloud of hot (rose-scented) gas - those there to watch its final moments will want to step back.

A ripple in the air pulses - heavily - from where it once was, with absolutely no sound and color, but penetrating force. Anyone standing within two miles of the point of origin will feel a push, with those closest guaranteed to be knocked off their feet and temporarily dazed. Cars swerve and crash. Staff in the nearest office buildings launch into disarray. There’s no shielding from the blast - it can be felt through walls, through structures, in the air, and underground.

And it is felt underground.

The entire business district starts to shake, abruptly, jarred to a stir by some movement. It rises over the span of a long half-a-minute to the magnitude of December’s earthquake.

Tuning Towers experiences the worst of it - windows are smashing and objects are shaking loose and falling from the upper floors.

It finally ends - with screaming - as the head of an enormous pink snake breaks the lobby floor.

It flows its way quickly out of the hole it’s made, breaks itself another hole ever so politely through the main entrance doors, which were not meant to accommodate a twenty-foot-tall-and-wide exitor, and as it draws the last of its tail out after it, the quaking dies down.

It’s now roaring its way through the streets of Locke City’s business district - all several hundred meters of Wise Snake, emerged in the flesh (or stone?).

No regard for the walls of buildings, streetlamps, civilians, stopped and blindly pulled-over vehicles, anything else on its course - in a frantically-awakened, unrestricted rampage.]

[ OOC: This is part two of the Season 1's finale. The first - the assault on the farmhouse - is here; pertinent plot posts one and two. ]

[Oh good someone who is actually going to let him help. Henry follows behind the woman towards the man and the snake. He's not sure what to do first but his first instinct is to get the man out of there. His magic has shown to be completely useless in transforming these snakes so he's giving that job to her.]

I'll go get him!

[And he makes a run for the guy entrapped by the snake.]

[A brief flash but her steps only fault for a moment. Uranus... but she shakes her head, she can't let herself get distracted now as she gives him a nod.]

Right!

[She goes for the snake, lunging forward to aim a kick in order to knock it aside, trying to give Henry a little bit more time to get the guy to safety.]
theboywiththebook: (thinking)

Oh my god email what the hell. Sorry for the super late response!

[Henry was quick to move forwards dashing forwards to grab the man by the hand and Henry just tries to force him along. Of course, the old guy is in shock over the snake and a child being here but he's not arguing, he just follows Henry.]
elegantsoldier: (Default)

no worries!

[As soon as Henry and the old man are out of the way, Neptune doesn't hesitate to call up the waves once more, letting them crash into the giant snake.

She waits until it crumbles to the ground before turning back to the other two, concerned.]

Are you two alright?
theboywiththebook: (Not dealin with you pan)

Yeah, I think so!

[The old man though just nods a little bit before, his face drained of color because, he just saw something that should never happen in reality. Clearly this the old man is taking this well because he's frozen stiff.

But, Henry's not taking any of that so he's just shoving the old man a bit on the back leg.]

Go! Get outta here! [And as startled as he may be he's not going to argue as the old man just flees away from the carnage. When the man is far out of sight, Henry pulls back his hood.]

Thanks, for uh, helping and stuff...err...uh...Magical girl person.

[She watches the old man head for safety before checking out their immediate surroundings, making sure there aren't anymore snakes coming up to ambush them.

As Henry pulls back his hood, she gives him a warm smile, nodding.]

You're welcome. I'm just glad we were able to get him away from that thing. [she comments as she eyed the remains of the giant snake. Where that thing had come from, why they were attacking she wasn't sure yet.]
