Who: Hajime and Philip.
Where: A quiet park somewhere.
When: The afternoon of February 1.
What: Hajime's concerned about this kid who keeps leaking apocalypse energy and can't control the shadow-things he spawns. He's going to try to help.
Warnings: Shadow monsters. Oooh, scary.
Hajime didn't object to training sessions for the other members of the network. Really, it was a good idea to get one's abilities under control. No, what made this instance a little weird was that Philip was so young, and that he was pretty much leaking some sort of crazy energy. It made Hajime's bugmonster instincts uncomfortable, and he had to make sure to keep an eye on himself. He didn't need to run around attacking kids because his monster instincts objected to the sense of sameness there.
So he'd offered to try to help Philip get things under control. It made sense; if Philip's shadow-things couldn't be controlled, then Hajime could defeat them.
He gave the kid a nod. He hadn't transformed into his bug-self yet, and he was hoping he wouldn't need to. "You ready to try making one of those blob-things?"

"Yeah, I'm ready!" the boy says, nodding. It wasn't hard to summon them, after all. He just didn't know what to do with them after.

"I won't attack them unless it looks like they're getting out of control. Just try making one, and try telling it to sit and stay or something like that."

Phillip still has no idea why it does that. "Um, sit!" He focuses really, really hard on the blob, trying to get it to listen.

He shook his head, trying to will away the memory. He could freak out over it later. "Come on, little guy, listen to him..." The big bug moved to try to herd the blob back towards Phillip. To Phillip, he said, "So they don't actually do anything?"
