Well. I've just proven the legitimacy of this for myself. I just have two questions for you all.

1. These pulses. Is there a way to get them yourself? It seems to be a common thought. I want to know if anyone has been successful in willingly getting one.

For the first, there used to be more options about but I think all you could do right now, if you actually wanted one, is go meet one or more of the Blood Keys, the gang that's been causing no small amount of trouble. I wouldn't advise this, though, in all seriousness.

For the second, it's complicated, but I hardly believe it can all be laid at our feet. Things might be quieter without us, but for the most part we've done very little but be hunted. And shot. It's really the police and this gang, lately. And Thunderco, that too. The earthquake is a different story, but not one I know in full.

No. Or not most of them. They've decided to ally themselves with something or someone else, who wants us dead, therefore, they want us dead. They shot a kid who tried coming to them, they've abducted us, fun times.

And it's hard to say, but they've been involved since the beginning. The police are certainly with them.

That's good to know.. [ So maybe he's not totally hopeless... Still probably can't trust most anyone here, but trust isn't something he actually has for anyone but himself anyway. ]

Yup. The police also have dogs with weird lumpy snouts that *will* come after you if you cross their paths, so careful there!

Dogs can smell the numbers?

Right. idk about all dogs, but those probably are not normal. Get too close and they get really agitated.

Is there any way to trick them?

Idk. I'm not sure it's a scent even. There's been talk about capturing one somehow, getting it away from its handler and the other cops, but I have no idea if anyone's made plans.
