So, um. I--[sigh] I don't think there's a good way to say this. Uhh. I...kind of got part of my arm eaten?

[He cringes as he pulls up his left arm into the video for demonstration. The forearm is all bandaged up, thankfully, but it looks unnaturally slim, a little caved in, and misshapen. It looks a bit better than it actually is, though, due to the added bulk of the bandages, which are actually starting to visibly stain bright green a little.]

It wasn't a monster or anything that did it, though, which is part of why I'm bringing it up. It, uh...It was Shiro, actually. He just kinda...jumped me and bit into my arm and ripped part of it off. So I guess this is mostly just a warning to be careful--I don't know if he might do it again to anyone else but uh. Just in case.

[he drops the arm out of camera view and looks down. He scratches the back of his neck with his uninjured arm before looking back up at the camera again.]

Also...I guess I'm dead now. So. There's that too.

I think the part where I'm still conscious and talking without a heartbeat is from a pulse though, so maybe I just pulsed back my own death?

I'm pretty sure I was dead and walking and talking in whatever past life thing this is. But I'm pretty sure anyone who was alive couldn't see me.

Well, I do remember getting strapped down to an examination table and having somebody point a laser in my face, but I don't remember if they actually used it on me or not. I don't know what else it could've been.

It might explain a lot of stuff if we remember it but that's pretty messed up. I think I'd rather just go without it.

Are you doing ok? Do you need help coming up with excuses for your parents or anything?

I don't know. It's not like they're going to be checking my pulse at the dinner tale, so I don't think they'll notice that.

But we have a bunch of family coming over for Christmas, and if anyone sees the arm, I don't know how I'm gonna explain that. It was hard enough figuring out how to explain the weird eyes.

If you keep it in a cast, just coming up with a consistent story for how you 'broke your arm' should work.

Hey, that's actually a pretty good idea! I don't have a cast I can put my arm in, but maybe if I find a sling, that could work.

I think we have one around here somewhere in one of the first aid kits...

Just make sure no one can get a good look at it.

I think it'll be easy to hide the weird shape of my arm and the blood in a sling, so long as I position it right and then don't move it.

I could probably just tell everyone I slipped on a couple of stairs coming home from school on Friday.

If you can use the bandages to make it look right, or at least hide anything, that'd help a lot too.

Yeah, I think I can keep the weird bloody part hidden in the bottom of the sling...and the rest I could try and pass off as like an ace bandage for a sprained wrist!
