[There are two important things to note, there. One: Winter wasn't there. So... there were more Precure? At least seven, by this count? Two: there was a designated leader.]

What colors were they? Do you know? I'm blue, and I have ice powers, so that makes sense. You're red-orange, and you have fire powers, so that makes sense. My leader is pink, and I have no idea what her powers are, because pink doesn't really map onto an element. Maybe it's related to flowers, somehow? Cherry blossoms are pink, and Rikka lived in Japan, or at least spoke Japanese.

So they all match up to their contemporary elements... except pink. I wonder if pink is special somehow? Maybe it's just a leader color, or something? If your leader is pink, and Cure Heart - my leader - is pink, then we might have a pattern. We'd need more teams, though, if there even ARE more teams. Still, it's a start.
